Wojo 2,453
I've always enjoyed Clint Bajakian's arrangement of the Main Title to the PC game "TIE Fighter." It begins with the brassy fanfare as the Star Wars logo appears, but instead of going into Luke's Theme, at about the 6 second marks it dives into a furious rendition of The Imperial March. This then segues into a modified yet familiar version of the melody that can best be described as a heroic Imperial theme, since as far as the game is considered, the Imperials are the good guys.I think I have it on MP3 that was recorded straight from the game's CD audio, which certainly was derived from MIDI, but all the classic LucasArts games have very well constructed MIDI files. Omen II 1,235
There is also a superb techno version of the Imperial March by Fader Gladiator (I first heard it when it featured in the Simon Pegg sitcom Spaced a few years ago) called Battle of the Planets. It is available on the album 'Beats By Dope Demand, Volume IV'.Seriously, it's really good if you can track it down!
