Richard Penna 3,696
In other news: Our planned 250th release (Wyatt Earp 3 cd set),originally scheduled for April, has been delayed a little bit. Mr.Costner has to sign off on the artwork, but he is currently on a movieshoot. Upon his return we should be good to go. I thought it was coming out in March... that just sucks.3 CDs feels a bit long for a release where they have no reason (AFAIK) to include the original album assembly. Is there really 2 hours + of unreleased music?
Koray Savas 2,251
Ooh they're releasing God Of War: Ascension. Time to cancel my pre-order of the Collector's Edition, only wanted it for the score. Nice to see Sony working with them continuously.
Jay 37,378
MV has announced some details about their version of The Challenge I'd thought the Prometheus release of The Challenge was complete. Obviously this re-release should have better packaging and liner notes (hurrah!), but can we also expect any significant improvement in sound quality or perhaps some alternate cues? In any case it's nice that LLL is reissuing some of those out of print Prometheus Goldsmith titles. I listen to Rio Lobo a lot more now than I used to because of the superior LLL presentation. Yavar Improved on all fronts (then again, I'm biased having produced this reissue). Program is pretty much the same as Prometheus one. However, we did correct the end title (and we have the alternate end title as well as a bonus track) MV http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?forumID=1&pageID=15&threadID=67395&archive=

This prequel to the critically acclaimed hit series, Battlestar Galactica takes place in the midst of the First Cylon war. As the battle between humans and their creation, the sentient robotic Cylons, rages across the 12 colonial worlds, a young, talented fighter pilot, William Adama (Luke Pasqualino), finds himself assigned to one of the most powerful battlestars in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. Full of ambition and in pursuit of the intense action that the Cylon war promises, Adama quickly finds himself at odds with his co-pilot, the battle-weary officer Coker (Ben Cotton). With only 47 days left in his tour of duty, Coker desires an end to battle just as much as Adama craves the start of it. Though they clash at first, the two men forge an unlikely bond when a routine escort mission with an enigmatic passenger (Lili Bordan) turns dangerous and becomes a pivotal one for the desperate fleet.Blood & Chrome is the second prequel from the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series. The first was Caprica, which aired from 2009-2010. Though it only lasted one season, the series and its music cultivated their own loyal following. This is a limited edition cd of just 3000 units.
