KK 3,307
Beanpole An authoritative film on how two friends twist and manipulate each other to satisfy their own delusions in a post-war Leningrad. It's slow, but there are many powerful, inherently cinematic moments here. And it's gorgeously shot, boasting an incredibly rich colour palette that puts the old Kieslowski films to shame.
