Sandor 918 Posted May 25, 2002 Posted May 25, 2002 I remember that a couple of years ago someone (was it Ricard?) posted some nude Natalie Portman pictures. It caused a great controversy with two threads concerning the matter battling each other. One of the threads was founded by none other than myself and was called: "I can't believe this". Ofcourse I was one of the few opposed to the nude pictures. Looking back at it now, it was kinda hilarious!Remember any more classic moments in The Messageboard's long history? The secret messages? Mani....(OOPS! The one who shouldn't be named)? The off-topic board? So what do you remember?Bye,Roald
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted May 25, 2002 Posted May 25, 2002 Looking back at it now, it was kinda hilarious!Hmmmm...Ricard almost quit his job as moderator because i accused him of posting porn on JWFAN.NET....(you probably missed that part, Roald)I've been slightly more carefull with the way I express myself nowSo what do you remember?Officially I remember nothing, certainly not the incident described above.Unofficially:My first 1000th post on EZBoardUni's "Great williams Moment" post.King Mark's insane posting spree when he was going through some troubled times (i believe i was the only one who respoinded to his "Who's your favorite porno actress?" post.Weebo's announcement that he was giving away copies of the A.I. promo.JoeinAr's posts, celebrating the execution on Timothy McVeigh (those were memorable posts)Posts by Sir Hitch, trying to convince us he was actually Pete Saville from Ireland.Uni's post that compared the MB to a coffee house (Uni, post some more please!!!)Your posts after the death of Pim Fortuyn. (mostly because i had to explain to several MB members that you were "probably" not a fascist or racsist)My Magna Cooker 3000 Plus post (even though the amount of orders I recieved for it was dissapointing.Your very angry post, saying that we should grow up, go out and do things, and even have sex..."do you know...well...do you?"There are others offcourse.Stefancos- - Flesh + Blood- complete score Basil Poledouris ****/****
Lurker 5 Posted May 25, 2002 Posted May 25, 2002 This was a memorable post. Posted: Mar. 02 2002,18:52 Â Â --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, maybe not everyone, I like Hitch, and I can tolerate Furter, Roald, Oskar ("monkey boy") and Chrusher. But I HATE several others off you, many I just do not like, and I'm indifferent about the rest of you people (although "people" is already to much of a praise.)How hard I labored to reach 1000, and how hard you endorse Harry Pothered when he is all but defeated me.Hours I spend working on that 800th post, trying to tell you about the The Magna Cooker 3000 Plus. But did even one of you place an order...Nooooooo.....My 900th post, when I tried to be friendly was greeted with cynicism by Walter from Arkansas.I wish the nuns has been even more strict with him...it would have saved me the trouble of finding his home, and sending several of my large cousins from California to have a word with him at my behest. And there we have Weebo...his posts are good...FOR ME TO POOP ON!!!If he was not handing out free A.I. promos he's be removed from this board long ago.And I cannot fathom who anyone would send free copies of that masterpiece to the tone deaf, under educated...or even uneducated (I cannot believe some of these people can write, or understand English), mass of steaming social animals.I have said this before at my 1000th post at the former MB, but I will say it again:I SPURN YOU LIKE I WOULD SPURN A RABID DOG!!!I once wondered how Ricard could stand it that this board was polluted by the likes of...well..YOU PEOPLE.But now I understand, He's laughing his ass off!!!This place is like his personal freak show, he's not a Williams fan at all. He knows fans of Williams are all geeky fanboys and he and his friends (fans of normal music, like Michael Jackson and G&R are laughing out loud every time they read a message here.)It also explains why Ricard never posted his opinion about certain scores here. He's never heard them, he doesn't care.Ricard l. Befan does not really exist. The name was probably made up by some Metal head who owns a tattoo parlor and is known by the local police as a shoplifter and a sex offender. In any case, that picture of him he put on the MB a few times...I am convinced it's real.Justin's messages has gotten longer, and I wish they hadn't.It's just more intolerable drivel. I get more pleasure watching my hair grow then reading his posts. And Indysolo, or Neil, or IAN "THE BRAIN" BABBITT.Hmmm...I am at a loss for words to describe you.Reading your messages is like staring at a blank wall...nothing happens...time expires, nothing more. With the loss of job your you will have more time to post. Â If I were you I'd instead spend that time stalking your old boss and leaving messages on his answering machine...messages with the Love Theme From Superman. It's more constructive then posting here.CrusiformSword...you said you feared me.Well you have nothing to worry about, I would not go near you even if I had to evacuate a burning building, and you were standing near the emergency exit.Marian Schedenig...you have finally chosen to post here.I have one thing to say to you....RUN...RUN LIKE HELL!!!!. End your membership, purge your hard drive, delete every file and memory of this place you are not yet lost...you can still have a normal life.John Takis...We were all very grateful when you gave us the Temple Of Doom bootleg, but even these mono MP3's, filled with sound effects are to good for this membership. They do not deserve a complete Temple Of Doom, nor any expanded soundtrack of any kind.I wish you a fine future at FSM, and I hope they will never find out you were once a member here.Figo...ridiculous.Melange...laughableMorn...well, atleast he likes DS9.EvanEd...Cello's are boring.Hlao-Roo...N/TChris ALfonso...who?King Mark...atleast he's a fellow cat owner, but anyone who thinks Goldsmith lost it in the mid 80's needs to buy a new set of ears instead of brushing his teeth 7 times a day and in between meals.Hell...I could list every one of you, but this post would get long, boring an torturous...FOR ME!!!Harry Potter...I hate him...I have hated him from the moment I saw his name on this MB and I imagine I always will.I have tried to like him, but anyone who starts a post about "CELEBRATING FRIENDSHIP" is my mortal enemy.Soon you will replace me as most frequent poster.I do not care, this place is going to Hell, I'm just glad you are joining it, Harry. The only poster here worth anything is FORD A. THAXTON.Keep up the good work man, I really dig what you are saying.Your opinions about Isolated score tracks, bootlegs, and fanboys, whining about more music are absolutely correct. My good friend Hitch, often speaking in riddles, occupying a world of his very own.I look forward to our next encounter, so we can laugh our asses of while talking about the gits on this Mb, like we did last year. And do not worry about the Spaniards, we will ditch them on the first day, leaving them with just enough money for bocadillo.Well, here you are, my 1000th post. You don't like it...I DON'T CARE!!!!!I'll probably get banned for 24 hours, but that will only relief my suffering. Some peace at last...some peace.Stefancos- who hopes the members will enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it...take that as you may.Neil

Morn 8 Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 Haha, I do.One of my favourite moments As is my debates with the Chrusher on the off topic board. I love debating. And I am very sad off topics doesn't exist, weren't we going to make a second message board for them? What about the time we got a copy of the star something Williams interview translated by King Mark, or that time we got the inside report from the AOTC recording session.
Ross 1 Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 Well I remember in early 2001 you guys began making weird "tracklists" about your normal day, with "music by John Williams". Hey. No offense but that was pathetic.I tried to make a little more, what's the word, bearable with the suggestion of using actual Williams music and got the usual response I get: 5 or lower posts answered. I remember Stefancos said: I once had sex during the whole 70 minutes the Titanic soundtrack ran Stefancos, man. It doesn't count if it's the kind of sex you would talk about at www.jackinworld.com  Chris Chrusher said something about "Hatching Baby Raptor" being "Hatching Baby Tortoise". That was good. I personally said I heard the "Imperial March" every time I saw my History Teacher (the bitch was ). Of course it passed unseen, but I'm used to that.So those are my memories so far,-ROSS War Games from 1984 by Rick Wakeman/Tim Rice
King Mark 3,975 Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 Humbly,I must say my "A score for your day" post.Sorry it's lost,it was at boardhost. And remember Darth Furter's "JWC in Danger post"that made peanutjake insane.K.M.Shamelesly self promoting himself.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 I remember Stefancos said: I once had sex during the whole 70 minutes the Titanic soundtrack ran Stefancos, man. It doesn't count if it's the kind of sex you would talk about at www.jackinworld.com  I was with a women....a REAL one.If you weren't from Madrid i would be ver angry.Stefancos- who wonders why Ross does not like it there.
Ross 1 Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 I was with a womenquote]Come on, Stefancos. Your english is better than that. And I don't Ricard would like it if I exposed the reasons I don't like Madrid. Just read the E.T. tagline for a summation. Or watch the first half of E.T., for an expanded summation. --ROSS who can understand why Stefancos can't understand why he doesn't like Madrid.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 Ricard is from Barqa, he won't mind. It's Darth Furter and Toxoplasman you need to worry about. As for your E.T. references...i do not understand.Stefancos- who WAS with a women....realy....REALY!!!
Ross 1 Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 Well, maybe I have to say; "Ross . . .phone. . . .home" and you'll understand better.I think I had a sort of rift with Toxoplasman 'cause we had different ideas on what love for a country should be. But I'm too macho to be scared. WAS with a women....realy....REALY!!! ROSS - who wants to know more but is afraid to ask.
Ross 1 Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 And at the risk of sounding like Chrusher, I'll say that the correct spelling for "realy" is really.ROSS - who's aware it's a matter of days before he gets a package from Stefancos that makes a tick-tock noise and awaits to be opened.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 Lucky for you that I do not have your adress. Stefancos- who would not send a ticking package, but a letter containing backingsoda, or powdered sugar.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 Has anyone forgotten UNI's John Williams moments post. It was one the the best post ever.Joe, who likes posts that have meaning, or a sense of adventure or danger, or just try to piss people off.
Morn 8 Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 That uni post was nothing special, I prefered the meanful Williams interview that King Mark posted

ChrisAfonso 237 Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 I remember the uproar that was starting here when an A.I. track list with (later proved false) very short track times showed up prior to the soundtrack release. And this comment (by whomever): "The Search for the Blue fairy (0:40 [or so]): David: 'I'm searching for the Blue Fairy... wait, I found it!' " -Chris

I'm normally not one to shamelessly promote my own endeavors, but since you guys took all the good ones....I was thinking just the other day how I miss my old investigative posts. I haven't gotten to wear that ol' hat in quite some time now. 'Course, there hasn't been much need recently, I suppose. Hopefully, one of these days we'll get another dubious Guest post that'll provoke some controversy, and I'll get a chance to gumshoe, for old time's sake. Great thread, by the way.... - Uni
King Mark 3,975 Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 didn't you forget MANINPURPLE2000 ?!!!that was some of the best messageboard's moment !!That story is now revealed. At first he was some weird dude that I discovered when I visited the Hornershrine for the first time. Then he posted something here and it was the real dude. Then Me,Crusher and Stefancos starting imitating him on the board. Ricard didn't find it funny and deleted all the related post and he became a banned topic! K.M.
