I don't think this has been done yet, but if I'm wrong on that feel free to merge threads.

Anywho, this is here for those of us who would like to add JWfans to our Facebook friends. For anyone interested, just post your FB link here.

Oh, and when you add someone from here, if your JWfan name is not your real name, be sure to include a note in the friend request so we know who you are. ;)

Do you like John Williams? His early work was a little too jazzy for my taste, but when Jaws came out in '75 I really think he came into his own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and an air of consummate professionalism that really gives the pieces a big boost. He's been compared to Jerry Goldsmith but I think John has a far more leitmotif-driven style of composing. In '82 John composed this, E.T., his most accomplished album to date. I think his undisputed masterpiece is "The Magic of Halloween", a theme so catchy most people don't listen to what it means. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of childhood and the importance of friendship, it's also a personal statement about the man himself. Hey Paul!

I get requests all the time from people I've never heard of - I think people blindly do it just to rack up loads of 'friends' instead of what I think is a more useful purpose of finding and keeping in touch with long lost buddies.

I've never tried Twitter, doubt I ever will. I'll stick with Facebook....I had Myspace for a while but deleted the page because no one really posted any worth while bulletins after a while.

Also all the people who were on my friends list on Myspace ended up going to Facebook so there was no reason to have both sites and I like Facebook better anyways.

I created a Facebook account about four years ago, long out of college, for one of the most wrong reasons -- to find more info about a girl that I liked. The relationship tanked and we stopped talking. My siblings added me to their FB friends and that was it. But lately, just about everyone from high school and college has begun to add me, so now I'm to about 20-some Facebook friends. I don't check it more than once a day, since it's wisely blocked at work, but I'd anybody that wants added.
I suggest a full frontal assault with automated laser monkeys, scalpel mines, and acid.
