Because in your dreams Cruise will still be alive?

A24 reacted to Tom Guernsey in THE RIVER expanded and remastered by Mike Matessino now available from Intrada Records
Definitely have a listen at the Intrada website as suggested, but to me it sounds a whole heap better than the original which I always thought sounded terrible - muddy and flat. I don't think the original recording can have been especially great as it still doesn't sound as good as other scores of the period (I mean it's mid-80s...) but still a significant upgrade. One of those excellent but less well known JW scores that I rarely listened to as it sounded so poor (ditto Dracula) which became much more enjoyable with the remastered edition. The additional music only adds modestly but is obviously still great to have.

A24 reacted to Jay in Upcoming Television Shows (and general TV chitchat)
No. Season two filmed from October 2022 to May 2023, then the writer's strike halted filming. This is just a return to filming since the strikes.
Should be ready to air this fall.

Probably my favorite PTA movie.

Adam Sandler can act. Philip Seymour Hoffman steals the show as always. Crazy (good) love story.

I did ... 10:10 am screening in my local Cineworld yesterday, only 2 other people in attendance. Bliss.

A feel-good movie with the always adorable and sexy Diane Lane.

Sounds surprisingly accomplished. Elfman has come a long way from the years of his Batman scores.

As Ripley is (as I understand it) a sexually ambiguous sociopath, Scott seems like good casting (if his Moriarty in Sherlock is anything to go by).

A24 got a reaction from Naïve Old Fart in The Amazing Electronic Music Thread
I remember that I had the KORG catalogue at the time and how much I drooled over the photos of that synth! It had a polyphony of 48 voices and 3 oscillators per voice! However, all I could afford was the monophonic KORG MS-20, which became my very first synthesizer.

KORG releases a re-issue of the legendary KORG PS-3300 which was originally released in the year of Star Wars.

Oh, wow! We agree! I recently discovered that Amazon Music has Still Crazy After All These Years in 'Ultra HD' and, lo and behold, it does seem to sound better than the standard version or the CD.

The album before Paul Simon's legendary Still Crazy After All These Years. And no, it's not on the same level.

Then there's that 'organization' that he belongs to and that wants a piece of the cake.
