Jay what are some of the tracks I should give a closer listen to? I’ve been a Giacchino Uber fan since Medal of Honor came out but I haven’t connected with homecoming.... yet??

Academic Decomittment

Monumental Meltdown

Stark Raving Mad

Pop Vulture

Lift Off

That's a nice little suite

I have just been listening some more to Michael Giacchino's Spiderman: Homecoming. I have heard in a few tracks what sounds a lot like an incidental quote of Georges Bizet's Farandole from L'Arlesienne Suite No. 2.

Here is an example, around 1:01-1:15.

And here is Farandole. The section I was thinking of was around 0:16-0:33, but the general tune is throughout.

Obviously it has no connection and is unintentional, but it stood out to me very much.

FYI, I posted this in the Complete Cue thread as well.  Clocking in at 2.2 hours according to my media player!  Giving it a first listen right now, so far so good!

Could anyone who purchased the US CD issue (889854505028) please advise whether it is a pressed CD or a CD-R? Thanks.

Where are you purchasing it from?

I made a Spotify playlist for it: https://open.spotify.com/user/1219032234/playlist/6PYwkn3QoyYmmQjvAM8TXE?si=2EvCwazMQpCN8zQboZCxIQ

It's 43 minutes.  The actual vinyl probably drops the high school band source music easter egg at the end of the suite on the CD/digital version

Was looking over the booklet and credits and saw William Ross credited as one of the orchestrators! I wonder if that relationship grew from Rogue One or was it circumstance?

Didn't know William Ross worked on the score! Perhaps a carry over from Rogue One?

Doh! I'm losing focus!

Didn't the sessions have an alternate Homecoming Suite labeled as the 'Bill Ross Mix'?

Yes they do, looking at the file right now.
