Marian Schedenig 11,695 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I can't choose. The only one I wouldn't choose is Superman.Marian - who would replace it with The Fury.

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 E.T.No wait, TESB.No wait, Jaws...No wait!
Pieter Boelen 1,032 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 No votes for Raiders yet? Talking about shocking! I'll vote Raiders then; defenitly the one I like best.
Jeshopk 8 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I can't choose between these. Not JP though.
BLUMENKOHL 1,110 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 ESB...Because the Carbon Freeze track is one of the only 3 tracks in any soundtracks that I can listen to over...and...over...and over...and over again without it ever getting old. It's a track that makes me feel in the mood for it.
Ollie 1,375 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 This poll is invalid as far as I'm concerned because CE3K and Star Wars should be on there.
QMM 4 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 This poll is invalid as far as I'm concerned because CE3K and Star Wars should be on there. You're invalid!...erm...yeahMax
Lurker 5 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 This poll is invalid as far as I'm concerned because CE3K and Star Wars should be on there.Indeed.Neil - who went with Superman - The Movie
Justin 2 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Raiders, Empire, and Star Wars are so close together for spot uno that I basically chose through mood.Justin - Who right now is in a Star Wars mood....as it isn't up there he'll go with Raiders.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 anybody with half a brain knows ESB will win this poll, but E.T. is the best, then Jaws, then Superman, ESB is about the 11th or 12th best, but the masses will still pick it.
Justin 2 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 anybody with half a brain knows ESB will win this poll, Â but E.T. is the best, then Jaws, then Superman, Â ESB is about the 11th or 12th best, but the masses will still pick it.Actually that makes me wonder which score is more accesible to the general public, ESB or E.T.Justin
scissorhands 16 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Why? Why am I still the only one who vote for Jaws!!??
scissorhands 16 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Sorry, but Hook doesn't have any privilege to be in that list.
Ray Barnsbury 8 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Just for kicks, here's how I would rank them:1.) E.T. the Extra Terrestrial2.) Raiders of the Lost Ark3.) The Empire Strikes Back4.) Jaws5.)/6.) Jurassic Park/Superman (not that crazy about either of these scores, aside from the terrific main themes)Ray Barnsbury
Composer_Fan 2 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 E.T.I can't get the end credits out of my head!
Lurker 5 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Sorry, but Hook doesn't have any privilege to be in that list.Neil
nightscape94 968 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Hook has every right to be on that list. It's not the best, but it's in my top five with wiggle room. Many people regard this as a masterpiece, with several memorable and beautiful themes. The way he uses them in the score is a throw back to the late seventies, in the senes that he weaves them in and out like silk thread. It's success on CD and in the popular culture even after the movie was panned is a testament to Williams' ability to create a fantastic work of art.Tim
