  1. On Bond the only issues I remember was a delay from the plant on Octopussy (on which I think MV mentioned that he regretted anouncing before having confirmation of the production) and also a lot of questions to LLL when they mencioned years ago that they had planned some Bond releases (TND, Moonraker, LTK - if I remember correctly) but the discussions were suspended when NTD went into production.
  2. Comparing the 2025 stereo mix at CD2/streaming to the Dolby Atmos album mix - although it is fun to hear some percussion and other effects coming from the rear channels in the Atmos - the stereo mix sounds better to my ears. The Atmos goes a bit over on reverb while the stereo mix sounds more balances with more clarity and sharpness to the instruments
  3. Added to the original post the note from The Anthology - Vol. 1
  4. CD 3 has an alternate album recording of Chrissie's Death. Maybe the quadriphonic album used that take instead of the one used on the stereo album.
  5. I second your wish for a Jaws 2 new release in the future. I think the sound of the previous release has some hiss and probably it could be improved - also remember some comments about an audio issue on the Jaws 2 End Titles (?) [I never noticed and have not tried to confirm it, as once you hear these things you can not "unhear" it] It also would be great if they could add the source music that Williams vetoed on the previous release. In fact I'd also love new releases of 3 and 4 (3 has audible tape damage that I think could be repaired by MM and the previous program had some crossfades, 4 is a bit hissy - I think since the original mix - as even in the movie you can hear hiss apearing in the audio just as some music starts playing). But now Its time to celebrate this release! It seems the definitive release of the soundtrack for my favorite movie. I can not wait to hear the remastered album recording (and the extra tracks that were found on the album recordings).
  6. Looking forward to Moonraker vs. Octopussy, however I can not imagine the possibility of Octopussy wining. Octopussy is my favorite of the Moore's Bond movies, one of my favorite in the series and I love the score (and treasure the expanded edition). That said Rita Coolidge can not compete with Shirley Bassey, and Moonraker has some of the best and most majestic music in any Bond film.
  7. Source music and alternates are in the aditional music sections on LLL Bond releases (althouth on OHMSS and License to Kill there are some casino music in the main section that could be also considered source). LALD in the only that has the source music included in the main program.
  8. The music in the Aditional Music section are source music (same as they did in Octopussy and Moonraker, were the Barry source tracks were placed after the dramatic score section).
  9. My favorites are the Jaws theme in Jaws the Revenge and Jaws 3-D. Those scores, specially Revenge, managed to work with that classic simple theme in amazing variations. Superman IV is also a favorite. Handles very well the previous themes (and the new Williams themes). Hated the score to Superman (2025). Solo and Shadows of the Empire are very good. The Jurassic Park sequels are just OK. Not much variation on the original themes. The Potter sequels are also OK even if Williams themes were a bit uderused on them.
  10. No brainer for me. I like all his Bond scores (specially TND), some great tracks in all of them. But his 3 Emmerich scores are better with great themes and more orchestral sound, with great action tracks (while I think he exagerated on the synths and overlays on his Bond scores). Godzilla being my favorite of them all.
  11. You`ve got a bad printing. Mine does not have the duplicated text.
  12. Best news is that there are also new tracks from the album sessions. The best case scenario is that they will not only be alternate versions to tracks already in the album, but maybe additional tracks that were rerecorded for the album and not included for some reason ("Father and Son"?). Can't wait for the Intrada release with the remixed album!
  13. As the album is being rereleased on vinyl in two mixes (new MM mix from 1st gen. multitracks and "original 1975 mix"), I imagine if the later will be from the 1st gen. original album master (the 2015 Intrada was from the MCA CD master, as the original album master was not located). If this is the case I imagine the new Intrada CD may include both (new MM remix from the multitracks AND album from the 1st gen. 1975 mix). Both would fit on one CD.
  14. In fact I’m amazed at how faithful it is to the looks of Bruce
  15. Jaws & Jaws, so yes! A second favorite could be Vertigo & Vertigo lots of other favorite movies and usually the scores are favorites too (good scores are part of why I love a particular movie)
