  1. ok to be more precise i liked the allusion made by having them in their costumes. PS: that policewoman costume is very very easy on the eye.
  2. the pleasure of owning a physical medium has gradually diminished over time for me. Yes, I do like it but if I don't have it, no biggie. Bring on the digital downloads if that means more complete releases! 320kbps or lossless preferably of course.
  3. Shures have a 3 year warranty. My cord for my SE102 predecessor (the E2c with a mike) broke, i sent it in, got a new pair of SE102 with the mic model two days later, with what I presume to be another 3 year warranty since it came with a new warranty card and an invoice (where i owe $0.00 of course)
  4. its not TRON with Daft Punk, its Daft Punk with TRON. Nuff said.
  5. whats wrong with the transitions? i loved them
  6. Taken on its own, yes it is rather better than SS. However, seeing it when it came out a mere couple of months after the first, it felt a bit too samey despite being an actual improvement.
  7. Tomorrow Never Dies and TWINE were spectacular, even if the latter was probably a little too overextended at 15mins
  8. Twilight - ok i was at a conference, i was tired and was flipping through channels at night and came across something with kristen stewart in it. it was about 10 minutes later i realized it was Twilight, and by that time I was absolutely transfixed by just how awful nearly everything in the film was. And the dialogue in this film makes Attack of the Clones sound like a masterpiece.
  9. KM may have a point. Regardless of his American popularity, Tintin has been around much much longer.
  10. the first thing that came to mind was Hooper's Room of Requirements. Thats...thats about it really off the top of my head. I havent heard Desplat's score yet.
  11. Why is it always about you? Why can't it be about the arbitrary second-person watching Episode I for the first time after having seen the others, who in fact, just might be stupid? Then according to Lucas, he should be watching the prequels first
  12. I personally never thought that Williams forsook his own themes in PoA. Its just that PoA is wildly different from the first two stories. There was no Voldemort, no Fawkes and the story itself took a darker turn so warm fuzzy Harry's Wondrous World didn't really have a place in it either.
  13. I wouldn't go that far. While I agree that the prequel scores dont have as much individual identity as the OT does, they do sound unmistakably star wars.
  14. It is? Generally I'd say so too. At the very least it generally ranks above or equal to Superman: The movie....outside of this board
  15. while i didnt know for sure, i'm not surprised that Capshaw sung it. I don't speak Mandarin, although I've been exposed to it quite a bit and I can tell that there was an accent in the singing.
