The Blu-ray of Hans Zimmer Live - Diamond In The The Desert drops on October 31st. No 4K announced yet, but it's likely coming sooner or later.
 
It runs 158 minutes plus 20 minutes of bonus footage.
 
I'm really looking forward to it. There are some interviews in the movie, but you can obviously skip them easily with the remote after the first watch

Mainly the dialogues. In my opinion, this being funny is not funny at all and just over the top. I don't really like the setting either. It partly looks like a not very good computer game. But as I said, I'll watch the series to the end and then make my final decision

So far, it tells...no shows you what the characters are feeling, and how you should feel about what you're seeing. 
 
A lot of the production design elements resemble Alien and Blade Runner, and Aliens. But this is modern Ridley Scott produced sci fi.
 
The young people who love this will watch Prometheus because of it.
 
 

Eh, I didn't care for the first 2 episodes.
 
They start well enough, but once they send a team made of actual children (with the most childish behavior) in adult bodies into a dangerous situation filled with monsters, it all felt kinda stupid. Once again most characters are idiots and the kiddie gang makes it seem like the cast of Peppa Pig somehow appeared in the Alien universe. At least the adult actors can act like children pretty well.
 
One thing that was a positive surprise was the score. Yeah, there's the obligatory annoying synths and BWAAAAHMS, but also plenty of orchestral music that is actually pretty good. I'd listen to the album if they removed the BWAAAAHMS and left just the melodic stuff.

I have no idea at this point... If there's no release, I guess it's another one I'll have to add to my list of... "to be released". lol

It's now called Dune: Part 3. You gotta wonder what, if anything, Villenueve and his writers did to it to "earn" that title, and whether or not it will pay off.

The worst film in the series. I couldn't build a bond with the characters. The story was bad and boring followed by meaningless dialogue. The attempt to be funny just annoyed me and wasn't funny. The score is also forgettable, nothing stuck in my head. Too bad, I was looking forward to the film but it couldn't convince me.
 

Yeah, the teaser didn't sweep me off my feet either.
 
Then again, the Gladiator 2 trailer was fucking amazing, and the film turned out to be anti-art...

I agree. And that is why a lot of people are missing out if they are only listening to "F1" for the main theme and not this version starting at 2:43. The determination aura is fantastic.
 
 
 

Listening to Rush's score today, I was reminded that Zimmer is often good at writing music that conveys a quiet nobility and subtle determination.
