Rousing main theme. Cheesy 70’s song derived from main theme, or vise versa, not included here.

Ollie got a reaction from TSMefford in Are 99% of Mainstream Movies Today Garbage?
No, there have been plenty of garbage movies made since cinema began. It may feel that way because films are made differently these days, multiplexes allow for more films to be seen and social media/cable/ streaming also gives a viewer more chances than say 30 years ago.

But I’ve questioned why I’ve wasted 2 hrs watching films from the 30’s thru the 80’s just much as I have with cinema the last 20 years.

Answering yes is the cowards answer.  Movies are an ever evolving craft. They don't necessarily speak to all of us but they speak to those its meant too.  The overtly cynical JWFans here will say yes but they are incorrect. None of us here see 99% of all films, hell none of us see more than probably 10 % of the films released each year.

Would have been interesting to hear how he tackled them some 18 years later.

Ollie reacted to May the Force be with You in Is Al Pacino an overrated actor?
Al Pacino is certainly not the most versatil actor because of his too strong attachment to Michael Carleone and Tony Montana who are both Mafioso but that doesn't make of him an overrated actor that's just what I'm saying

Denzel Washington, Jack Nicholson, Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins, Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford, James Stewart, John Wayne, Gene Hackman, Meryl Streep, Katharine Hepburn, Frances McDormand or Emma Stone have often all similar roles but that doesn't make of them overrated actors.

They are stars with strong personality so that obviously reflects in their choice of careers and the resemblance of their roles.
