Its easy to be disenchanted with the Star Wars franchise because Star Wars is beyond great. ESB is also great. Half of Jedi is good, there are interesting parts in the mostly bad Phantom Menace, aotc is a recipe for garbage and rots is film diarrhea. TFA is a nostalgic love song and TLJ is half terrific and half aotc/rots bad. Rian (its Ryan you tard) Johnson surprises no one in his mediocrity as a filmmaker. I will give him props for a great ending bleak and somber. People commit suicide for less.

I think it could've been told better, for sure, but there are more problems with Return of the Jedi than that.

Allow me to be 500th person to say, the London musicians are not inherently better than the LA musicians, nor are they somehow better for Star Wars.  Anyone who says so is just letting nostalgia/sentimentality blind them.

The movie ends with Luke and Uncle Owen buying two different droids and everything turning out to be just a dream.

Disney is using those bland superhero movies to build an entertainment empire, but you don't need to spend your hard earned dentist money on any of it. 

Looks promising, got a kick out of seeing Lando flying the Falcon.

I wonder if Quartet will be able to release any of the other Giacchino scores that were digital only (Black, Earth Days), or any of his completely unreleased ones (Looking For Comedy in the Muslim World, 50/50, This Is Where I Leave You)

After the financial failure of Solo I'm sure Disney Ian gonna let Williams help out anyone on their projects.
