Jarbas 1
List your idea of a "perfect" musical program for a Williams Film Music Concert. Here is mine:Parte One: Drama - War - RomanceThe Reunion from Jane EyreTheme from Born on the Fourth of JulySayuri's Theme (for piano and cello) from Memoirs of a GeishaRegaining a Son (Elegy for Cello and Orchestra) from Seven Years in TibetTheme from Angela's AshesTheme from SabrinaThe "Float" from Catch Me if You CanDry Your Tears, Africa from AmistadHymn To The Fallen from Saving Private RyanWhere Dreams Are Born* from A.I.Three Pieces from Schindler's List: Remembrances - Jewish Town - ThemeINTERMISSIONParte Two: Aliens - Heroes - AdventureOut to Sea/The Shark Cage Fugue from JawsSuperman March from Superman: The MovieThe Indiana Jones Suite: Parade of the Slave Children - Scherzo for Motorcycle and Orchestra - Raiders MarchFlying from E.T.Theme from Jurassic ParkThe Harry Potter Suite: Harry's Wonderous World - A Window To The Past - The Chamber of SecretsThe Star Wars Suite: Main Title - The Imperial March - Luke and Leia - Duel of the Fates - Across the Stars - Battle of the HeroesJohn Williams, conductor and pianist (especially for Geisha and Sabrina) with orchestra and chorus.*Despite being a sci-fi movie, the character of the music I believe is most appropriate in this session. Quintus 5,399
Variety is great, but JW's arm would fall off. I personally listed the bare essentials, which soon added up.

Taikomochi 1,136
It was just a joke. DMC is good, but not on the level of any of Williams' themes like those above.
Richard Penna 3,694
Yes, complete Jungle Chase would be cool. I could just imagine Williams shaking his head several times during the performance though, finally throwing the baton aside with a minute to go and exclaiming "this piece has no musical logic!" Anyway, any programme that doesn't include every theme from Star Wars, Adventures on Earth or the Raiders Match gets my vote. They've just so damned overplayed.
