A24 4,348
I'm afraid you're right, Thor. At the 2.01 mark we have 2001: A Space Odyssey (Scott's favorite sci-fi movie) reference. Naïve Old Fart

crumbs 14,319
It's Paradise Lost through the lens of HR Giger. Brilliant. Makes me wish they kept the film's original title, but the religious overtones of 'Covenant' are interesting nonetheless. Those human figures appear to be Engineers in the poster. Being on the wrong side can be disastrous. This poster is very handsome. Still couldn't give a crap about the movie it's for, mind. Does that mean the poster has failed? No, because this is actually just the case of my personal preconceptions ruling my responses. The 2000s: the era of over-thinking promo posters. Thor 7,529
Great track! Sounds like a hybrid of PROMETHEUS and ALIEN, just as the film seems to be -- but overall more interesting things going on in the textures than PROMETHEUS (which only had, like, the "Life" theme by HGW and a few other snippets that were highlights).
