Edmilson 7,466
People are speculating that the suit is inspired by the comic Batman: Year Zero, by Scott Snyder (not to confuse with Batman: Year One by Frank Miller). As you've guessed it, it shows Bruce on its first year as a crime fighter. But I really hope this ain't another origin story.
Gruesome Son of a Bitch 6,488
Batman riding a motorcycle has always been lame to me. There was a doll they made based on the 1989 movie of him on a motorcycle even though he didn't have a motorcycle in the movie and I thought it was stupid even as a 3 year old. Batman's cool. Motorcycles are cool. Combined, they look stupid and that also includes the Dark Knight thing. The only exception is Adam West.

Edmilson 7,466
Also, Birds of Prey being a box office bomb despite good reviews didn't stop DC's publisher Jim Lee of being optimistic with the future of DCEU. Quote DC's Jim Lee Praises Upcoming DCEU Movies: Amazing Batman Movie, Killer The Suicide Squad The future is looking bright for the DC Extended Universe according to DC Comics publisher Jim Lee. Wonder Woman 1984 is set to debut later this year. The Batman is in production. The Suicide Squad wrapped on Friday. Black Adam is on deck. During a panel at C2E2 on Saturday, Lee shared his optimistic view of the shared cinematic universe's future. "We've been working on the slate," Lee said. "We have an amazing Batman movie, Suicide Squad is just killer, and Black Adam next year. These are all just next year with Wonder Woman '84, which has tremendous momentum from the first movie that was amazing. "So there's a lot of great positive things happening as that universe continues to move on. I think next year will be the first time ever that we'll have three theatrical releases in one year. And Walter Hamada's in charge of DC Films. He's a great partner. Loves DC. Super creative. Great relationships with filmmakers. So we're very positive and hopeful for the future of the DC Extended Universe." https://comicbook.com/dc/2020/03/01/batman-the-suicide-squad-dceu-movies-jim-lee/

Edmilson 7,466
Actually, it's the contrary: Quote Warner Bros. Confirms ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Will Go to Theaters, Not Streaming Despite reports to the contrary, Warner Bros. confirmed to IndieWire that Patty Jenkins' DC tentpole will get a proper theatrical bow. Despite reports that “Wonder Woman 1984” could bypass the big screen and head straight to streaming, Warner Bros. has confirmed to IndieWire that director Patty Jenkins’ DC tentpole will indeed get a full theatrical run. Even as studios such as Universal — which recently pushed the films “Emma,” “The Invisible Man,” and “The Hunt” to VOD platforms and announced a day-and-date release for “Trolls World Tour” — begin to modify their release strategies, Warners is sticking with its original plan to release the film nationwide. Warner Bros. has not officially announced a shift in the release date, either, which is currently set for June 5, opening the gates to the summer movie season. With the current self-distancing and quarantine measures in place, studios are left unable to support their films with the requisite pageantry of junkets and premieres prohibited by social-gathering mandates. Warners also hasn’t announced whether it will push the launch of its SVOD service HBO Max, set for sometime in May, but that won’t be the go-to destination for the “Wonder Woman” sequel, which follows up the 2017 comic book-based smash that racked up more than $820 million worldwide. In the film, Gal Gadot will reprise her role as the title heroine, and reunite with her co-stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, and Connie Nielsen, but this time they’re joined by Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal. Studios are scrambling to anticipate, or recoup, losses caused by quarantine measures. On Sunday night, both Los Angeles and New York announced the shuttering of all non-essential public spaces, and that included movie theaters. Other cities have followed swiftly as the coronavirus has now reached every state in the country. Warners recently released another DC tentpole, “Birds of Prey,” on VOD ahead of schedule. What some saw as a box-office disappointment since the film opened on February 7, grossing $200 million globally, is now a streaming opportunity for the studio while people are stuck at home on their couches. After first offering “Frozen 2” on its subscription service Disney+ way earlier than expected, rival studio Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has attempted to rebound by offering “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” early on VOD platforms, and will make the Pixar family film “Onward” available for VOD purchase beginning tonight, Friday, March 20, at 5 p.m. PT. That film, which took a 73-percent drop last weekend amid theater shutdowns even while holding onto the top spot at the box office, will then head to Disney+ on April 3. https://www.indiewire.com/2020/03/wonder-woman-1984-theaters-streaming-coronavirus-1202219383/

Edmilson 7,466
Smaller releases such as Birds of Prey may be released on streaming, but not with the big blockbusters such as The Batman and WW84. And even still it's a risky decision. Imagine if they decided to just throw Joker at DC Universe, they would've lost over a billion dollars in box office revenue.
