Played the isolated score track of Bicentennial Man last night. Beautiful-- even though it's a repeat of other scores and has been repeated itself, which makes it intellectually disappointing, musically, it's beautiful, and more of a good thing.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events

Not as good as Nemo but still one of Newman's best.

Chinatown

Finally got a copy of this from a friend the other day. My only disappointment is the fact that it's so darn short.

You Only Live Twice, the old album

K.M.Wondering if the Expanded Edition is worth it

Little Nellie has the better rendition of the 007 theme IMO.

and well it will not be much than 11$ or something...

No true soundtrack fan would ever ask that question.

Neil - who listened to The Musketeer today

The great Diamonds are Forever. I never cared much for the original album, but the complete album, when properly sequenced, is a revelation.

Listening to Poledouris' Les Miserables, and still finding it wonderful. I just checked the IMDb and was surprised to find Poledouris listed for 4 upcoming movies... if only half of that is true, it seems to be a really busy time for him.

I just got done listening to Home Alone 2 Deluxe Edition and Lost In Space (The Movie) by Bruce Broughton. I know Lost In Space The Movie is a bit cheesy but the score is good.

Man, Batman's "Finale" kicks butt!

I listened to Batman yesterday. I keep forgetting how awesome the Finale is.

Today I listened to The Incredibles, Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Insurrection.

Of the two Trek scores, First Contact is much better (IMO). And though I still like Insurrection, I'd take The Incredibles over it any day.

Actually, when listening to the full score, I consider Insurrection the better one.

Marian - who thinks it's very underrated.

:music: Wild Rovers (Jerry Goldsmith)

I agree the Star Trek Insurrection score is definitely under-rated. As is Nemesis. Usually with Nemesis you have to listen to it quite a few times to warm up to it. That's what happened with me....

By the way I just got done listening to the full score Air Force One Goldsmith and McNeely...awesome score.

In some order, I can't remember when I listened to them:

Conti's Rocky

Silvestri's Van Helsing

and Talbot's The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy

Rob - with "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish" stuck in his head
