LOTR is more consistent, but SW is more entertaining.  So I pick the latter.

The 3 LOTR films have more minutes of entertainment then the 6 Star wars films combined.

That's how I came on the very logical descision to vote for LOTR.

Oh LOTR leaves SW far behind in my books. Only JW music is in par with LOTR.

TTT lowers LOTR down two notches too ;)

And God only knows how many notches the Prequels lower SW :)

if stefan said two, then it is two ;)

LOL

BTW Stefan is only a demigod (yet).

And I meant the movies not the scores. They are in par with each other IMO.

Yeah i know. But williams is far better composer than shore. So they cannot be in par :).

Oh my you are right! ;) How has my logic been so asleep all this time? Williams is the better composer of the two. So by that definition SW music has to be better than LOTR music. Well that settles it ;) On with the friendly argument!

Can you prove this, with logical reasoning and without personal bias?

I'd love to see you try....

Could anyone prove that? And how would you go about proving Williams or any other composer is better than someone else? If it is a question of compositional skill even then it would be hard. How would you logically deduce someone is better composer than someone else? But if you would choose by personal musical taste then it would be quite easy but biased. Can't all just get along and like the composers we like and argue about it on the MB in our silly way ;)

Oh I forgot you are half Vulcan half Hobbit with a pinch of demigod thrown in the mix ;).

Poor return of the king score

A truly astounding score that puts John Williams prequel scores to shame.

Stefancos- expecting another "ban him" post. ;)

I hope it is not "burn him" post :)

- Incanus who also likes ROTK score very much and thinks there is nothing poor about the score-

But this would make a nice perpetual motion machine LOL

Take LOTR scores and only add John Williams fans and there you have it!

Stefancos- who still has Marc's adress, and a knowledge of explosive devices.

I see you have an egde not many of us have. Now you have huge pressure on Marc. Press your advantage! ;)

Indeed ;)

Incanus were you saying that we should just get along rather than arguing or that we should argue?

I 'indeed' if it's the fist option.

I just performed highlights from LOTR and the KING music was a great disapointment

for me.First I thougt it was some highschool arrangement but later heard it was original stuff.

Maybe I am wrong and it was just a bad selection of films music, hope so.

And I have to admit that fellowship music was almost very good...
