Ollie 1,291 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I've never eaten a bowl of Wheaties.I drink whole milk.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,949 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Will you consider it now you know JW eats them?
Jay 42,495 Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I had wheaties as a kid but didn't like them that much and haven't had them sinceNowadays the only cereal I tend to eat is Special K, Honey Bunches of Oats, Honey Nut Cheerios, Frosted Flakes, or something from Trader Joe's
indy4 159 Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Best way to eat cereal: Cheerios in the bottom, corn bran on the top, with skim milk
Smeltington 1,755 Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Get this... I ate Wheaties TODAY! Lately I've been eating them with dried fruit, it's rather nice.
InTheCity 150 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Like I said I asked him this a few days after the real announcement.
JamieC 13 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Voila!http://starwars.com/news/star-wars-celebration-europe-2013-john-williams-to-score-star-wars-episode-vii.html
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,949 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Tryin' not to get my hopes up! Tryin' not to get my hopes up! Tryin' not to get my hopes up! Tryin' not to get my hopes up!
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,949 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Nothing new in that interview though. We know he doesnt like to read scripts! The rest is mainly arse kissing for J.J. and K.K.
chuck 155 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Wait til that arse kissing turn into arse kicking!
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,949 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Isn't a Star Wars film kinda like a superhero film? Why isn't Zimmer doing this?
Incanus 5,858 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Nothing new in that interview though. We know he doesnt like to read scripts! The rest is mainly arse kissing for J.J. and K.K.Yes I was surprised that Williams didn't thrash both Abrams and Kennedy, spit of Spielberg and trample on Lucas' reputation in this interview. Why has he become so respectable all of a sudden? Usually he has given everybody hell and told dirty secrets about his colleagues and odd anecdotes about his back problems and partying with the BSO. Where's that fire Johnny? Joni Wiljami 1

Arnaud 6 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Apparently Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, announced today at the Star Wars convention in Germany that John Williams had been formally asked to write the music for the three new Star Wars films.
Max 153 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Well, there's this, which confirms he'll at least be back for Episode VII. crocodile and Muad'Dib 2

Muad'Dib 1,947 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen Johnny so excited and full of energy for a new project! This is going to be great russds 1
Quintus 5,721 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 WOOOOOO! JW seems really energetc in that video! Maybe he's in training for the London Marathon. SafeUnderHill 1
Ollie 1,291 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 And here is 90+ year old John Williams conducting a special sneak Preview of Episode 9.

karelm 3,192 Posted July 27, 2013 Author Posted July 27, 2013 Excellent news!! I knew he was going to do VII but the next three! Three soundtrack instabuys and wish Maestro continued health and stamina. Smeltington 1
Giftheck 1,109 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Apparently Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, announced today at the Star Wars convention in Germany that John Williams had been formerly asked to write the music for the three new Star Wars films. So whom have they since asked?Lol. I think he meant 'formally'.Good news. I'm not exactly ecstatic about the new films, they'd have to be something special, but I still look forward to a new John Williams score. I hope at least they'll consider releasing complete of those, if they don't want Prequels.Speaking of which, somebody at Celebration should have asked if there was a chance of complete scores.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,949 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Speaking of which, somebody at Celebration should have asked if there was a chance of complete scores.John Williams doesnt release complete scores on his own. Unless the score is very short.

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,949 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I don't think you get my point.Considering the score hasnt even been written yet, considering no footage of this film has even been shot, I doubt anyone has even thought about the score release.Experience tells me that JW will cut his 70+ minute album as usual, and that while we may see expanded/complete editions down the line, it won't be anytime soom.I hope to be wrong though.

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,949 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I stand corrected. What's the deal with the rights on those? Fox or Lucasfilm/Disney?
Giftheck 1,109 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I should imagine it's like the films themselves. I shouldn't see why Fox would obstruct a complete score release though.
Richard P 4,779 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Also, it assumes that Williams himself isn't the one who isn't keen on expanding them.
crocodile 9,211 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Well, there's this, which confirms he'll at least be back for Episode VII. Yay! He looks really excited. Karol
Giftheck 1,109 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Also, it assumes that Williams himself isn't the one who isn't keen on expanding them.Well, yeah, he hasn't exactly stood in the way of the expanded editions that have been officially released, like Hook, or Home Alone. I think up to this point it was more or less LucasFilm preventing expanded releases. I hope Disney might be a bit more positive with regards to this.
Giftheck 1,109 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Well, there's this, which confirms he'll at least be back for Episode VII. This episode will be the opportunity for me to write the very first love theme of the saga. What the fuck, man?Maybe he feels Across The Stars was too tragedy-tinged to be a 'pure' love theme.
