Andy 4,128
I'm a bit of a Halloween nut. In addition to a massive collection of Halloween novelty music, I enjoy the following scores immensely:CreepshowSalem's LotSleepy HollowFriday the 13thBride of FrankensteinDracula (Williams)The OmenHalloween The FogBram Stoker's DraculaAnd lots and lots of Hammer Film music. For whatever reason, I think of Poltergeist as a Summer movie, and this the score isn't right for Halloween in NY.I was surprised at how much I love the score for Salem's Lot. It just hits all the right creepy beats, and is very retro, yet still unnerving. A lot of horror music runs the risk of becoming grating or unlistenable. Salem's Lot never wears out its welcome. mrbellamy 6,287
For me, the first two Harry Potter scores are very "Novembery" to me while the third one is very "springy".Well, the first two were released in November and the soundtrack album for the third in May. And lol KM, I came here to say that about Elfman. Probably more than half of his output works.

Unlucky Bastard 7,782
Presently listening to the old Varese Nightmare on Elm Street 1 and 2 CD. I reckon Young's score is the best in the series. I'd love a complete version someday.
