  1. I think it makes zero sense in the context of the movie. It isn’t until TCW when you see some separatist or non-joiner worlds (not just robot armies) that it makes a lick of sense.
  2. Expansions have never ruined OSTs for me, though there are plenty of scores for which I vastly prefer the OST. Scores that become slogs in longer form and get very repetitive or don’t offer anything substantively interesting that wasn’t on the album. One great reason to include intact OST presentations with expansions. Other scores have OSTs that leave out musically significant highlights and are repetitive themselves, and the expansion gives it a little breathing room. TPM or Elfman’s POTA fit that bill for me. But most expansions are kind of a wash for me - both are fine listening presentations of the score.
  3. I think my experience with the show is the same as yours - I watched one or two seasons. I thought it was pretty good, so just one of those things I fell off of for time considerations.
  4. Not sure if this is completely on-topic here, but I don’t think it merits its own thread - Teen Titans Vol. 3 albums is coming next week.
  5. I liked Love and Thunder a bit more than most, I think - but my biggest “problem” with it was that it was very episodic, so not extremely cohesive as a two hour movie. I also didn’t like the Olympus stuff, didn’t think it clicked as interesting or fun.
  6. If they had released the exact same movie except they called it Fartzilla’s Delight
  7. Yeah, that’s legit. Everything I’ve ordered from DME has come from Nowheresville Virginia. Why they don’t have the page for the DoD CD indexed and searchable is beyond me, but people have ordered from that link in the past couple weeks and received the real deal.
  8. Godzilla has arrived. The back cover lists 18 tracks on disc 2. The actual disc has all 20 tracks listed on the website.
  9. Yes yes and yes. One of my favorite Williams scores and probably my favorite war movie.
  10. Honestly I think I’d prefer to hear Williams’ take on a murder mystery than another alien movie. But I think Columbus’ days of pulling someone of Williams’ caliber have passed by two decades or so.
