Doesn't that variation of Sauron/Evil Of The Ring also appear in Lighting of the Beacons for Denethor talking to Faramir, right before he hallucinates Boromir.

Honestly, I felt his and Kidder's performances were weaker compared to the first film, which might come down to how much clunkier I find a lot of the rewritten scenes to be (plus presumably not being too thrilled to work with Lester). I certainly want to revisit the Donner cut for that reason, since the tidbits I saw felt better acted.

I've grown to appreciate Thorne's work more recently, for as restrained as it is creatively. Especially since it still beats the RDC being such a hatchet job in regards to how it edits the score from the first one. I certainly would love someone to do like some sort of rescore project with it.

Didn't feel like a DChannel show to me, no laugh track for one.

FWIW the show was focused more on culture than gender.

Miklos Rozsa seemed to think so when he recorded outdoors in Rome.

3-7 of CW started to hew more adult (while still having some arcs/episodes that were lighter, for example 1 or 2 silly droid/Jar-Jar episodes) but not entirely like Andor/LOTR/Dark Night level or anything.

I wish John Williams did an AMA for his Indy 5 music... but first someone would have to explain to him what is an AMA. And what is Reddit. And that no, you can't reply to fans using a typewriter and sending letters to their houses.

Ok guys, Disney Music answered me and they says the cd is SOLD OUT.

I am sorry but this is a BUMMER. I can't believe we, John Williams and Film Music fans, have to go through this labyrinth to get the latest film score of this important saga and the most respectful film composer alive (and probably his latest score).

I am really done with Film Music, this is awful and shows disrepectful for the customer. Can't stand this anymore.

I think I only found it "quite good" when I first saw it, but it's grown on me with repeated viewing. Certainly one of Wilder's best. Waxman's score works very well in the film, but on its own I've always been content with a brief suite.

And Bernstein's motorcycle music sounds like a precursor for Williams's own for TLC.

A fantastic film with a fantastic score.

With you on Water Ballet, one of those moments that make you smile at how cool it is.

Not with you entirely on Germany 1944, I got goosebumps on my first listen, it's nice to hear the cue without it being Wallinized, seeing as it would probably never be chosen to be re-recorded otherwise
