Agreed. Call me old-fashioned but CDs are practically the only thing I listen to in my car. It's also the best way to memorize an album.

I would like a CD for nerdy collector's reasons. I will still buy the digital lossless if that is all that is available though.

It was great of course! Other than the fact that it was in a smaller theater and there were only 3 other people in there besides ourselves (thanks Covid), we had a great time.

The Variety article doesn't mention it, but they kept Spider-man 3 where it was : December 17, 2021, one week after West Side Story

Giacchino would have to not only push for Disney Records to be willing to release it at all, but also push for Disney Records to pay the expensive re-use fees for a 2 hour score recorded in LA.
 
This is something Powell did not have to worry about, because Solo was recorded in London.

I just watched it and was amazed by how many different and unusual instruments were used for the main title, the man is definitely talented with his ability to play so many different instruments, I can't even begin to play one! LOL
