    Around the time the prequels were released, I remember reading a summary here of what Lucas's intention for the background was, you know, the explanations that we never got (how Anakin was conceived, why Sifo-Dyas started the Clone Army, some background for Palpatine's plan). Does anyone remember where this was posted? And what the source for this was?

    It was creatively edited to optimize viewability. After all, a chronological and complete live feed would be totally inappropriate for the TV medium.

    There's (just) one huge drawback to Season 5 which the series in my eyes never recovered from, killing off áll the other main characters, and then resurrecting one of them as the bad guy later.
