Me. And I never do that. But for this, I really want to hear it scored to picture first. It appears from the interviews they really cared about the score, and made sure there wasn't compromises. The late scoring sessions hopefully indicate there will be significantly less edited/chopped up music. I'll have the cd in my car for when I leave the theater. lol

Attended last night. Was really a magnificent performance. Crowd wasn't too terrible either. This was my first time seeing the LA Phil, and couldn't have been more pleased. Really happy I was able to make it.

I just got a high-end system. Bought some sealed Williams LP's. Superman, Raiders, Empire, both Jaws, and E.T. I feel bad for those of you who think it's not better than CDs. You should hear Empire, Superman, and Raiders. You would cry.

Titanic- A Building Panic- Love love love this one. Easily my favorite part from this score. You really feel the sense of urgency, and fear. but the whole time is stays dramatically beautiful.

I cannot get over this release. It's been constantly playing. So glad I have an office day today so I can sit and listen. Mattesino should be hired as Williams personal archivist.

I'd just like to say that whatever the price, this set is worth every penny. The sound quality if phenomenal, the music is terrific, and the presentation of said music is perfect. Each disc has its own perfect musical flow.
Though admittedly, I haven't played either "For Always" yet, and I'm not sure if I ever will
Also, Jeff Bond's essay in the booklet is excellent, providing a wondering analysis of the score and all its themes. I already want to read it again.
I am very happy Williams and Spielberg approved of such an expansive and comprehensive set - complete and chronological, with all the early alternates and unused cues! This bodes SO well for the next Williams / Spielberg expansion!

Not only are they out of place and stick out like a sore thumb, but it's a slap in the face to artists for the ground breaking work done at the time of films original release.

You know what else? This will likely be a Star Wars score relatively unmucked with in the final cut unlike the last 3 prequels.

I love love love this score. The OST remaster is PHEMONENAL. The range and openness of the sound is amazing. Played it the whole way through. When I left after listening, there was a note on the door "please turn down your music, even if it is wonderful". LOL

I think that they will release whatever they can. I like the reissues of The Fury and Home Alone. Especially for those who can't pay 100.00 for a copy after it sells out. I really think the more Williams music available is the best case scenario. But these boutique labels aren't money grabbing, just making it available to the people who love it.
