Bespin 8,507
@Richard Try my playlist on any of your Happy Hour during Christmas and give me news! There aren't just titles putted toghether randomly! Here's the playlist that comes after, for the beginning of the dinner. If you have too young people at your party, they may never talk to you again, but's that the chance to take for educating them. - The retro guy Then you can switch to more modern jazzy tunes... Disco Stu 15,495
I've loved the band Wilco for many, many years. Every album they've ever recorded is one I'd call a grower, I always appreciate them more over months and years. Their new album from this year, Wilco Schmilco, I thought was only OK at first. While I still think it's minor Wilco, it's really hitting the spot tonight. Love this song.
Koray Savas 2,251
That sounds exactly like M. Ward. Is that their general sound? I dig it.
Disco Stu 15,495
Wilco's a hard band to pin down, but yeah generally their sound is a little folk-rockish with veers into noise and art rock at times. If you've really never heard them before, this is their best song. From their 1999 masterpiece album Summerteeth:

Indeed and it was the song via which someone on the net introduced me to Drake's work. I guess that was nine years or so ago now (crikey, the years are speeding by) However, to some extent I've overexposed myself to that particular song to the point that the effect is less magical than before (without a long long break between playings, I mean) Quote I'm listening to OXYGENE 7-13..............Boy is this damn good!!!! Disco Stu 15,495
I haven't really been much into Adams' albums since Cold Roses, which to me was his creative peak. Maybe I'll revisit his post-05 stuff one day.

They're definitely the best of his recent output. If you like his earlier stuff then I'd recommend them! The stuff between Cold Roses and A&F can be skipped if you're not a die hard.
