Caldeira 0
Hi there, everyone!God, has been a long time since I last started a new topic. Well, what I want from you people is to know what are the most beautiful themes from the movies (and when I say beautiful I mean a theme that would melt you down in tears if you were that sensible). Now, please keep in mind that I do not want this to become a discussion of "facts". I just want to know your opinion and what are the most moving themes for YOU.Thank you, everyone. See you around. ChrisAfonso 186
The last "new" piece that did this for me was "The Steward of Gondor" from RotK. I fell that "Lament" from RotS could have that quality, but it has to wait being (hopefully) enhanced by the visuals to fully break the barrier. TSoF did it right away in internet-leaked 128kbps mp3 form, and the effect increased with the actual Cd, and then the scene in the movie.

David Vincent 8
It depends on the context, but in general, I can't listen to Schindler's List. It is a wonderful soundtrack but it is too difficult to listen to it  My son who is only two years old has just discovered E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and can watch the film entirely without any move, so for the moment, I can't watch E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial without crying. And the End Credits from Revenge of the Sith makes me think of John Williams saying goodbye to the saga which is very sad too. Josh500 1,615
Somehow I feel like crying whenever I hear "Over The Moon" . . . this is so beautiful and such a perfect end to a wonderful score, I'm near tears whenever I hear it (or perhaps that's because the end of E.T. is so moving). Also, by John Williams, "I Could Have Done More" from Schindler's List is pretty sad . . . I think that arrangement is more emotional than "Theme From Schindler's List" itself, actually. Also, "Omaha Beach" is pretty sad (I'm listening to it right now, actually; the brief clarinet solo at 5:25 is incomparable). Theme from Love Story makes me wanna cry, too, btw.
