  1. Ruined... it's maybe a bit rude! However, I struggle to get used to some expanded programs... The Cowboys (I still prefer my own shorter playlist, inspired by the old CD program) The Long Goodbye (I still prefer my own more chronological playlist)
  2. Oh wow, I never saw that video before! Charles Aznavour & Mstislav Rostropovitch - Sa jeunesse - 1995 https://fb.watch/rULIdZi4dV/
  3. May the 4th be with You. John Williams - The Legend - CD 1 & 2 Robert Ziegler – The Star Wars Saga - The Essential Collection Ondřej Vrabec, Czech Studio Orchestra – Star Wars Stories: Music From The Mandalorian - Rogue One - Solo Joel McNeely – Star Wars: Shadows Of The Empire This program makes exactly 69 tracks. So I'll stop there.
  4. I quickly noticed that, finally, they decided to include the entire concert on the BluRay, not just the second part conducted by Williams... Because a solo CD with only the second part has absolutely no interest. That's only half of a concert!
  5. Since 2 weeks: Ce3k Hook Schindler's list Minority Report Minority Report
  6. Since 2 weeks, I listen to only one score : Minority Report (expanded).
  7. Jean Musy, conductor for France and Belgium has passed away April 26th. He is best known for his many film scores and his final work Edmund the Legend of a King, a collaboration with 1973 winner Anne-Marie David. He recorded more than a thousand singles and 150 albums, composed nearly 200 soundtracks for movies and TV series, as well as numerous songs. In addition to his work with Charles Aznavour, he collaborated with renowned artists such as the group Il était une fois (for "J'ai encore rêvé d'elle"), Barbara (for "Amours incestueuses"), Michel Jonasz (for "Je voulais te dire que je t'attends"), Yves Duteil (for "Prendre un enfant", "La langue de chez nous"), Nicole Rieu (for "Si les oiseaux pouvaient parler", "Homme"), Nicole Croisille (for "Une femme avec toi", "Parlez-moi de lui"), Dick Annegarn (for "Bruxelles"), and Nicolas Peyrac (for "So far away from L.A.").
  8. In the box set "Charles Aznavour - The Complete Work," the unreleased posthumous album "I Will Warm Your Heart" stands out. You will be surprised by its raw energy, rarely revealed, especially in Charles Aznavour's English discography. Comprising 12 tracks, the album was mainly recorded during a session with Del Newman at Nova Sound Recording Studio in London, in March 1975. However, these recordings never saw the light of day at the time, making way for the releases of the albums "I Sing For... You" and "Hier... Encore" later in the same year. Among these tracks, "A Young Girl" and "And So I Wait" stand out as completely unreleased English titles. The other tracks on the album are new versions of songs previously recorded by Aznavour. After being set aside for decades, the multi-tracks were finally mixed in May 2023 at Tonehouse Studio in Paris. Thus, "I Will Warm Your Heart" not only becomes Charles Aznavour's 92nd and final studio album but also one of the most precious gems of the forthcoming box set "Charles Aznavour - The Complete Work." 01 A Young Girl (Une enfant) (Unreleased title in English) 02 All Those Pretty Girls (Jolies mômes de mon quartier) 03 I Know I'm Wrong (J'ai tort) 04 Let's Turn Out the Light (Éteins la lumière) 05 And So I Wait (Je t'attends) (Unreleased title in English) 06 I Will Warm Your Heart (Je te réchaufferai) 07 It Will Be My Day (Je m'voyais déjà) 08 The Times We've Known (Les bons moments) 09 For Mama (La mamma) 10 Our Love, My Love (Tes yeux, mes yeux) 11 Until Tomorrow Comes (On se réveillera) 12 And I in My Chair (Et moi dans mon coin) (Piano voice version)
  9. Introducing two timeless classics from the iconic Charles Aznavour, both released under the legendary Monument label which catapulted stars like Roy Orbison into the limelight.
  10. Jean-Pierre Ferland, the celebrated Quebecois singer-songwriter, passed away at the age of 89. He was a prominent figure in Canadian music, known for his influential contributions to the francophone music scene. One of his most notable albums, "Jaune," (Yellow) was released in 1970 and achieved widespread acclaim for its poetic lyrics and emotive melodies. The album's title track, "Le petit roi," (The Little King) remains a standout piece in Ferland's discography, resonating with audiences for its introspective themes and musical craftsmanship. Ferland's impact extended beyond Quebec, earning him recognition among English-speaking audiences for his artistic talent and cultural significance.
  11. Charles Aznavour released 3 albums on the prestigious label Reprise Records, which will be included in the 100-CD box set "Charles Aznavour - The Complete Work," set to release on May 10th.
