FYI, you can only use it in a Reel (a Story happens to be something else)

And yes that piano opening to Helena's Theme is interesting! Was strange to hear after being so used to the flute opening. 
 
Will take some time to get used to it. And we'll get the original opening on an MM expansion some day, hopefully
 
Voller Returns reminds me of Chamber of Secrets (that score I mean, not that track name) 

Just got to the On The Tank stuff in track 3. I'm disappointed this is on the OST album instead of original new material

Waking up in Vegas to see a new John Williams OST is out, and there's already 3 new pages of discussion about it to read... Pretty cool

Melodically speaking, the theme does appear to be a bit simpler (dare I say weaker?) than its siblings in Williams's repertoire, but I still think it's very enjoyable and even a bit moving, especially in this particular arrangement and performance. I like the almost ethereal ending in particular.
 
Breathtaking? No. Charming? YES.

One of the worst things about all these legacy sequels Williams has scored in the last few years is how he is almost expected to reprise iconic material from previous movies.
 
In that sense, as an action adventure score, Tintin had much smaller baggage. There was nothing to reprise

That person was, admittedly, a little careless in his visual analysis, although he wasn't so definitive about it either
