This will be my first film score purchase with the word "Wiener" on the cover

Wow, what an amazing performance!  Everyone who attended should consider themselves extremely fortunate, too bad I was unable to attend.

What a long journey from that moment:
    to that:

40 years of hard work to the first one, and another 40 years of hard work to the second one.

    WOW! What a stunning performance!!

It'll haunt me forever that I didn't get to attend this concert, that's probably the best rendition of the Imperial March I've seen. How lucky are we to have this amazing concert in such glorious audio and video quality?

Love the moment with Williams at 1:37 where he can't hold back the smile any longer. He must have been thrilled with their playing.

Ah, so most of the tracks are the regular orchestral versions then?
    Too bad.
I was quite curious to hear a Mutter Imperial March.

This means the 6 additional tracks on the Bluray will be Mutter's performances:
    Hedwigs Theme,
    Theme from Sabrina,
    Donnybrook Fair,
    Theme from Cinderella Liberty,
    The Duel,
    Remembrances.

While I loved the concert I attended I must admit it pains me a bit to see Williams – despite the tremendous energy for his age – conducting in the clip above. He already can’t keep his tempo at the opening bars of Hook and that’s why the horns are late. No wonder the concert master looked stressed like hell. I hope they can stitch together a polished product from the two concerts.

The Star Wars main title is definitely from Sunday - I can see myself there.  So both days footage. Cool!

Anyway, we were extremely, I mean EXTREMELY lucky that this concert happened, Corona was already an Issue in China back then and if it break out sooner, this would be cancelled again. Oof.

They tried for years, apparently. When Williams wasn't interested, they helped establish the Philharmoniker connection instead. And we should be thankful for that, because we got two excellent concerts with great acoustics and a solid programme instead of an bombastic light show with amplified sound and butchered medleys.

Everything necessary to prepare the content for these releases should be possible without physically having multiple people at the same location - possibly even from home. I imagine it's only the production of the physical release that might have to wait until things are up and running again. Though that still might delay them for several months if we're unlucky.

Meanwhile, a friend tells me that the concert is scheduled to be broadcast on ServusTV on 1 June, at 10:00 and again at 22:15.

To think that had this concert been scheduled just two months later, it would have probably never taken place.

The window between the end of his work on TROS and the pandemic was maybe 3 months total.

I might be in the minority here but I generally don’t like any of the tracks with ASM. Too classical-ish for me.

They opened exactly at 9:00. They had 4 people at the counter, so I didn't have to queue while others were already buying tickets. Once I had mine, and realised that people had problems with the website and couldn't get through on their phones (the counter people were at least partly responsible for handling the phones, and they were fully occupied for at least 15 minutes by the people in the queue), I re-queued and handed my phone to them with a friend on the other end of the line so he could buy his own tickets (I did that three times).

Those seats were empty during the first half of the Sunday concert. I briefly contemplated switching to them in the last minute, but did not want to risk a disturbance. In the break some people took them switching from worse seats. I guess there was a group that could somehow not make it to the concert; I am sure those places were sold.
