if anything this makes me want to buy ALL of LLL's BF releases to support a company that actually gives a damn about their customers rather than Disney just taking a dump in our cereal during maybe the greatest week out of the year for film score fans.

After all this drama, looks like Disney is releasing a 5-disc boxset in March 2024 containing all the Indy soundtrack albums, including Dial of Destiny.

Yes, it's $150, but that's still less than the DoD CD alone is going for right now:

You can see the tracklistings on the image if you zoom.

The CDs for the first three films are the 2008 Concord expansions

The CD for the fourth film is the normal 2008 album.

They're dropping the fifth disc from the Concord set, with the additional cues.

The fifth disc in this set will be the regular Dial of Destiny album, identical to the OOP standalone album.

KittBash got a reaction from Junion in John Williams Chronology
IT was indeed very much a typo as the notes clearly say
"Today, few people remember much about Checkmate, but those who do recall the show do so in large part because of its music--not the actual episode scores, but rather a soundtrack album released by Columbia Records on February 13, 1961."

And my brain fowled it and made it 1960

This WILL be corrected Thanks guys!

Also for the recording dates the notes have them as

    1960/11/17
    1960/12/01
    1960/12/09

I will add them as well.

The chronology marks the release of the Checkmate album 7 months before the show's premiere. I find that rather unusual! Could anyone with access to the FSM booklet (I don't have it) confirm the album's recording dates and/or release date?

KittBash reacted to Junion in John Williams Chronology
I guess it must have been a typing error.

The Checkmate album was recorded on November 17, December 1 & 9, 1960 and released in February 1961.

    - CLIP: 1st SW cue ever recorded, aka "The Swashbucklers" - 6 min

    - CLIP: JW on the scoring stage - Harry Potter Logo raw takes - 5 min
