As it seems, The Bounty which is limited to 3000 copies, has an isolated score by Vangelis, and not an isolated + effects track as it was stated in the beginning (for anyone interested).

I received a reply from Twilight Time regarding if the description of "Isolated Score" is accurate:

"It is - at first we were playing safe because the music tracks hadn't been found, but now we have them."

Haven't seen it.

I hope I don't regret a blind buy.

I like this kind of films.

Also I liked very much the Brando version.

There's enough in The Bounty for you to like ...

On a related note, what is Master and Commander like?

I generally like Peter Weir's films (Fearless being one of my most-loved). Not sure about this one.

It's the most popular film at JWfan. You'll love it!

I received my Godzilla 2014 5-disc set from Japan that comes with the exclusive SH Monsterarts poster-version figure.

The added bonus material is nothing particularly special. It's nice seeing the Toho logo at the beginning.

Ultimately it's really just the exclusive figure that's the big selling point.

Ah, just what I've been waiting for over the past three years.

Should I get this or wait for the inevitable extended cuts box set?

If you only want to own one version of the films, DEFINITELY go with the EE versions.

If you want to own both the TC and EEs, then get both.

Yes, I would. I feel that for both AUJ and DOS, the EE is the superior version. More specifically, I feel they have better pacing and a more fulfilling story.

For BOFA, none of us have seen the EE yet of course; However, there are a ton of stuff in the trailers that wasn't in the EE, not to mention the TC feels really rushed and "empty", like there is stuff missing throughout, especially the ending (many, MANY plotlines running through all three movies don't get their resolution in the TC). So the EE for that one is likely to be the biggest improvement of them all.

But if you haven't seen these films, why jump right into owning them forever on plastic discs? Why not rent them on redbox for $1 or just stream them on netflix for free for your first viewing?

Netflix used to offer the first Hobbity movie for streaming a few months ago but I haven't seen it in my suggestions for some time. I doubt it's still there.

Nice, but whats the point if its the same transfer?

Some people like steelbooks and you can't believe how many double dip just for it. ;)

Well, i wouldn't double dip if i already have a movie on Bluray just for the packaging.

But if i don't, if the artwork is good I'll buy the steelbook.

Commando director's cut is also coming in steelbook, but it's not good.

(i think the film has been remastered too)

I like the upcoming Japanese steelbook better:

and even better the original zavvi steelbook (which is OOP) with the theatrical cut:

Although I wish they had used the original film poster:

Yea I like the extended cut of TWOK too. It exists in HD (it's on iTunes), strange it hasn't been put on disc yet

Time Bandits and The Soft Skin sold out on me in the checkout page. Bummed, and it took me awhile to find a third title (I have a $50 gift certificate), but I settled on:

Tootsie

Watership Down

Pina

$14 and free shipping. Success!

How do you feel about this upcoming Zavvi exclusive steelbook?

I'm not sure yet. I think I don't like it. Too "busy".

It's also a very good film!!

One of them might be UNDER FIRE, although it would be a blind buy.

Unfortunately the iso score option has the effects too.

I have The Fury(+ isolated score) and Long Goodbye (+ iso score & FX track) and they look exquisite!!

Especially The Fury!

They're Region B.
