DigitalfreakNYC 59
So I was daydreaming this morning and came up with this question:If LLL/Intrada were going to release one of these "trilogies" with their respective complete scores, which would you rather have: the original Indiana Jones trilogy or the Star Wars prequels?Just curious... King Mark 3,631
I think I'll go with SW PrequelsAlthough at this point, taking into account game file edits for the SW prequels, both are missing similar amounts of musicI'm "ok" with the Indy Concord Box set if you tweak it a bit with music from previous releasesAnd for Indy it's more KotCS I'd chose to get more music from right now
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
I would gladly pass up the Prequels in exchange for perfect releases of the first 3 Indy films.Fortune & Glory alone is worth that (nod in agreement Ricard!) King Mark 3,631
Well it's good but i wouldn't throw out the Prequels just to get itIt's more the missing cues form Last Crusade I want
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
TOD is a top 5 Williams score. I would gladly have it over a top 25 score like AOTC or ROTS
Jay 37,364
Indiana Jones trilogy obviously. We're getting all the prequel music in Lucasarts video games
Trent B 337
Star Wars Prequels, thank you very much. I can listen to those a lot more times then I can anything Indiana Jones related.
Koray Savas 2,251
Star Wars, surprisingly. I'm content with the Indiana Jones box set.
Trent B 337
I'm content with the Indiana Jones box set.As am I.
Joni Wiljami 1,206
Prequels.I'm perfectly happy with my Indy Box, especially TOD, the only indy score I'm actually interested in.
indy4 155
I'm happy with the Indy box, so I choose prequels.
Red 75
Prequels. I'm satisfied with the Indy box set, even though I wouldn't mind getting those complete as well.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
10 complete morons so far. Interesting....

crocodile 8,012
I would go with Indy box, especially since people here are so fond of doing all their prequel edits. To take away all that fun from them.... Karol
SF1_freeze 131
Prequels for me too...Nevertheless TOD beats them all but we have an almost complete score for it with Lego game materials, some rips and the concord box.
Wojo 2,453
Indiana Jones, thank you very much. I can listen to those a lot more times then I can anything Star Wars Prequels related. The Prequels really made me re-evaluate my interest in anything Star Wars, and that unfortunately includes the lackluster (Prequel) scores. Luke Skywalker 1,795
I chose Indy since the prequels are almost complete with game rips. But that Indy set would have to include complete KOTCS too
gkgyver 1,645
Star Wars prequels.I don't necessarily like the music over Indy (as a matter of fact IMO Indy beats them by twelve parasecs);it's just that I can hear the Indy scores as they were intended in the films if I choose to. And everyone has still to hear any of the prequel scores as they were intended.
Faleel 5,348
And ALL alternates, original and unused music! (expeccially for KOTCS)
Richard Penna 3,689
Prequels - and solely for RotS.I'm pretty happy with the Indy box material, and what extra we need doesn't require any serious editing or sfx to achieve. But I'd really like to hear Sith as originally intended, completely sfx-free. Amongst the filler there's some amazing material that I can't understand why Williams left off the album.
MSM 126
[edited]Ok I just realized you are talking about the scores.Actually it's a difficult question....I think I go for the more smooth orchestration of the prequels, although compositionwise the brilliant action Scherzos of the 3 Indy's are better than anything in the prequels. Luke Skywalker 1,795
Come on guys... 30 minutes unreleased from the prequels (being generous...).About 1-1:30 hours unreleased from Indy. There is no Comparison!

crx_brett 0
As much as I love Star Wars and everything the franchise encompasses...I have to vote for Indy in this. Way more music yet to see the light of day.

Naïve Old Fart 9,528
"Indiana Jones" all the way! I especially want the source music that accompanies the banquet, and, although I doubt that it's written by JW, I still want the percussion music heard on the bridge (right after Mola Ram says "welcome"). Having said that, "Approaching The Stones" alone is worth £25 of anyone's money!
Luke Skywalker 1,795
That's rather cheap..."Capturing the plane" from Tintin is worth a lot more!
Matt C 454
Indy, without a doubt. I'm just not jonesing for SW prequels expanded releases any time soon...
