Jacck 23
ARGH! At least he didn't look disappointed like before... He just took in a deep breath, smiled, and clapped. BUT THOSE IGNORANT FUCKING CUNTS AT THE ACADEMY! How could they possibly give away Oscar to a shabby 13 minute score over 2 Genius scores by Williams? Honestly, HOW??? I just don't understand it... I mean, the two scores are clearly better than brokeback, any human being with an ounce of taste could see that...Is this not Best Original Score anymore?????? SeekUYoda 0
Did anybody else notice how they made a fuss over Clooney's 3 nominations tonight, but not Williams, who has more than anyone else in the room? Grr. Give the man his due!He just took in a deep breath, smiled, and clapped. Bravo to him - gracious as ever! Eplicon 53
I'm not that surprised Williams didn't win, given the history of how Academy voters chooses the music winners. It almost always goes to someone whom I've never heard of, or has music that goes some "important" film (however bland the music might be), or has been said, some guy with a foriegn name (suggesting the person writes more serious music). Didn't Santaolalla write the music before he was even associated with the film? How does that qualify?Of course, it also doesn't help when the music branch picks certain (undeserving?) nominees in the first place! If only the winners were chosen by their respective categories...
