A nice "religious" score by an unknown composer to me. I particularly love the pastoral theme in tracks 6, 15 and 20.

Hehe.. I know.. But there are many scenes in the original in which I am bored..(in between shark attacks I mean) Also I find the helpless kids threatened by a shark a more dramatic device than a trio of grown-ups that have gone out specifically to kill it.

Yeah. I should have put it in " ". I just meant a collection of unrelated music cues.. I just used that word for emphasis.

I am not a fan of pot-pourri in music so I don't own/have ever listened to the John Williams concerts in Berlin, Tokyo, Vienna etc.

I generally love Tennessee Williams's film adaptations and this is no exception. For the record, my favorite Batman film is Batman Returns. I guess you haven't seen that one either, have you?

Listened to it, influenced by that new thread. Ok, well, it's not the best John Williams, neither a style I generally like, but surely I'd love an official release for historic purposes. Shouldn't someone tell Williams that there is a bootleg out there with lousy quality, and he doesn't gain anything by vetoing this release?

Why it should be re-recorded? I don't think the master tapes are lost. Unless you mean because Williams is not happy with the original recording.

I don't think we'll see a release during Williams's lifetime!

I have never warmed up to Jaws, both film and score.. I prefer Jaws 2.

Masterpiece! There is a Greek critic here that I watch and generally trust, and he has rated it with half a star out of 5! I just don't understand some people.

Another wonderful religious epic, one of my favorite films. I think I like this better than Ben-Hur, but I like the score of the latter more.

I consider that about spaghetti westerns, that's why I don't like them. I haven't seen this film though..
