  1. According to reviewers, this is the movie to watch right now.
  2. I wouldn't surprised if some people with zero interest in soundtracks (that's how they call them) might have a Morricone or Zimmer 'best of' CD.
  3. Why not? You never understood what the big deal was with the original so maybe this series will change your mind! Ever since Danny Boyle's Sunshine, I don't see the character, I see her. For some strange reason, I find her distracting.
  4. I gave up after 15 minutes. According to Zack, these are the kiddo versions, the adult versions will be released later this year.
  5. He seems a bit like a slow dresser.
  6. Never read The Fountainhead but I know it's Zack Snyder's dream to turn it into a movie. Isn't there already a classic B&W movie with a same or very similar subject?
  7. The good stuff or endless sequels.
  8. I don't know anything about it but is Adam Driver discovering that he is in 'The Matrix'?
  9. Half the universe dies in Avengers. Does that make Marvel movies Shakespeare? Only at JWFAn!
  10. I didn't find it depressing at all. Remember, millions of people die in Star Wars too. Star Wars and Dune are pretty similar: Emperors, chosen ones, princesses, rebels, deserts, duels, battles, etc. Dune is slightly less geared towards children, that's all. I don't know. Some things in Dune 2 felt rushed to me and it felt more like a typical ride (heavily relying on spectacle, explosions, ...). I did like Paul's mother better this time. The symbols on her face helped to make her more impressive and believable.
  11. To be honest, Dune: Part 2 is nothing more than just another epic theme park ride made with the latest effects. The best part of the movie, and I'm sure Zack Snyder* and Tarsem Singh will agree, is the fantastic, unique looking, hyper-stylized 'Arena scene', shot in odd B&W tones. I can only repeat what I've said after I watch the trailer and that is that the whole movie or even the whole Villeneuve Dune series should have been filmed like that. That would have been top 10 material. *When Zackie was still a hyper-stylist, of course
