@Incanus the only unfortunate thing about Arsene Lupin is that there are about 4 tracks in it that are slightly damaged. And in one of them I was bit concerned so I actually contacted customer service. They kindly pointed out it was addressed in the booklet. Shame that a 20-year old score should suffer such fate but what can you do. Other than that, it is a nice release. I was a bit worried the brief tracks will cause this to be choppy but, quite frankly, it flows nicely. It's quite mind-boggling this score is 132 minutes long (not counting the bonus tracks)! As for Ragnarok, yes, it is bit obnoxious. But I really really like this track: McCreary will work for some but not for others. I myself find quite drawn to some of his work but not others, just like you. For example, I quite like his Cloverfield scores but can't quite stomach a lot of Godzilla 2. As for ROP, I have no real connection to the show. Watched it once with mild interest but tried recently again and struggling to get through it. I don't particularly care about it one way or another. The music I do like though. I don't really compare it to Shore. The way I see them both is that McCreary's Middle-earth is younger so it likes to show off and be more hip whereas Shore's is older, more nuanced and measured. In my head, it makes sense. 😀 Karol

Legend is an amazing score. To me, it more than makes up for the shortcomings of the movie. It conjures up the whole world in my imagination. Fantasy scoring at its finest. Karol

Perhaps, but Elfman is literally an amateur. Doesn't that make his efforts more impressive in comparison? Karol -

It's a big role for him. Literally. (Splendid actor, by the way) Karol

I like the prosthetic make up, Tim Roth and the score. Karol

Hi, all brilliant artists! Does anyone have any custom The Rings of Power covers for episode albums? I could use the existing episode covers but wanted to diffrentiate the new Mondo set from my High-Res album in digital library. Karol

No, I like the original. I just don't see the point of turning it into a franchise. I feel like point has been made over 40 years ago. The sequel, while decent, didn't really add that much. Karol

And Cloverfield. And Let Me In. 😀 There seems to a Matt Reeves sound coming from Giacchino. Dark, motivic/minimalistic and textural. Karol

That Michelle Yeoh is in it, I count as good news. The fact they are making this in the first place...not so much. Karol

The previous three movies are pretty good. And, to be honest, I also quite like Giacchino's scores. Karol
