Shotgun Wedding
 
A lot of people won't even watch this, but me and my family always enjoy action/comedies of this type. It's fun, I laughed out loud and I can just turn my brain off.
Lopez & Duhamel have great chemistry and really made this work. The rest of the cast is also wonderful, especially Jennifer Coolidge. Lenny Kravitz is maybe a bit less, but I don't really care.
 
Pinar Toprak's score is also a lot of fun. A primary theme, fully orchestral with added ethnic drums & woodwinds for the exotic location. It's in the same sonic world as last years The Lost City.
 
Yes, the visual effects are a bit wonky, the script is nothing we haven't seen before, and it's just dumb fun but that's exactly the reason I liked it so much!

Yeah I’d be very interested to see deleted scenes for this. Maybe one explains why the water Na’vi disappeared during the final confrontation. Maybe one shows whether Clement’s character survived. Etc.
 
But actually one main reason I understood it as months was the time amongst the water Na’vi. As you already pointed out Kate Winslet’s character goes from being not visibly pregnant to very visibly pregnant. But are you forgetting that whole montage of them learning the ways of their new community? That to me conveyed a fairly substantial passage of time.

Am I one of the only people in the world who feels that re-releases, of any film, should not be added to their original box office?
I've always felt it's bit weird and it keeps happening with lot's of different films

The glasses they give at my local imax at least are big enough to completely go over my (large) glasses. It's surprisingly  comfortable.

Mission Impossible Fallout. Outstanding. It's both a fantastic action film mixed with an old fashioned love story. It's one of my favorite films of the last 10 years.

This looks like so much fun. Count me in!!
 
 

It will cross 2 Billion next week by Jan q2 or 13 is my bet.
