About 5 to 10 years in prison.

bruce marshall reacted to Mr. Hooper in The Official La-La Land Records Thread
Man, we're a tough group. We also tear apart the ads.

That building reminds me of the cloning facility from Episode II

Marty Supreme (2025)
Good but slightly too long. Watch it for Thimothée Chalamet.

bruce marshall reacted to Naïve Old Fart in What is the last piece of classical music you listened to?
Ooh! The RESURRECTION.
Nice.

bruce marshall reacted to ssMusic in What is the last piece of classical music you listened to?
The entirety of Mahler's 2nd Symphony is my favorite piece in all of music.
Benjamin Zander, has in my opinion, the best recording of this symphony to ever exist. We like to call many film scores "epic" - but this symphony is deserving of that title. We would not have orchestral film music without Mahler.
Benjamin Zander has an entire web page dedicated to Mahler for those who are interested in diving deep into it - https://www.benjaminzander.org/collection/mahler-and-zander/

Everyone wants to write a violin concerto, which is more 'glamorous' than a tuba concerto, of course.
-
bruce marshall reacted to A24 in What is the last piece of classical music you listened to?
That's already four different recordings of the tuba concerto. Isn't that a record for Williams' concertos?

bruce marshall reacted to Jim in Steven Spielberg Developing a Western Movie
Damn. Of the two, I'd have much rather Williams had scored this than Disclosure.
Yeah Spielberg going out of his way to make this point kind of has the opposite effect he thinks it does.
-
bruce marshall reacted to BloodBoal in Steven Spielberg Developing a Western Movie
With another Western score by Williams, hopefully.

Bring it on!
(but don't take too long though )

From Variety! Man, I think it sounds great, I hope it gets off the ground!

bruce marshall reacted to Jurassic Shark in Disclosure Day FILM discussion thread (previously Steven Spielberg will be making a UFO movie based on an original idea with a David Koepp script)
If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to 7.00 billion people. We are coming close to ... Disclosure Day.

Eh, I think you might be overthinking what is probably just a typo or someone who didn't double check this before publishing it. Doesn't seem like a clue hidden in plain sight for me.

bruce marshall reacted to Mr. Hooper in Who will become Spielberg's go-to composer after JW?
When Williams and Spielberg retire and die, I'll remember you both.
-
bruce marshall reacted to filmmusic in What was JW's most recent/last masterpiece in your eyes?
I don't know about others, but I personally disagree with the notion that an artist (whoever that is in whatever art), is producing only masterpieces.
This way, the word itself loses its meaning.

bruce marshall reacted to Edmilson in 2027 - 50th anniversary of Star Wars
Do you want a new complete edition of Howard Shore's Middle Earth scores that improves upon and has everything that the CRs and Special Editions from The Hobbit (as well as Rarities) didn't?
I mean... This year marks the 25th anniversary of Fellowship of the Ring
