When it was announced that Zimmer was doing a new sci-fi movie about robots, I expected something like Chappie, maybe mixed with bits of Inception. But I certainly did not expect he to deliver such an emotional score.
 
The Creator is kinda like a continuation of the emotional parts of Wonder Woman 84 and NTTD, with some of the Interstellar religious awe. I'm just happy to see that, post-Nolan, Zimmer is still willing to use a huge orchestra and choir in such an exciting way that I haven't seen from him in years. 
 
The climax that goes from Standby to Prayer (which, according to people on the internet, it's the climax of the movie) and then to True Love is pretty great! The album should've been chronological, though, with True Love coming after Prayer, and The Wounded, Lab Raid and Heaven early on the album.

After almost an year without playing a game, I finally got God of War: Ragnarok on PS5. It's as good as the 2018 GoW (one of my favorite games of the PS4 generation), maybe the combat mechanics is even better. I'm still early on the game though.
 
Also, I intend to get Marvel's Spiderman 2, Horizon: Forbidden West and the new SW Jedi (all sequels from games I really enjoyed on PS4).

When we found out that the FYC equals the OST, I thought we'd have to live with the OST presentation of the score for years and years. Can't believe we'll have music to supplement the OST so soon now.

OMG!  I had avoided seeing this movie until now and it turns out it was for a great reason: This movie is terrible!  Truly one of the worst movies I've seen in a while.  I hated the tone, the characters (everyone's an asshole pretty much), the directing, the terrible use of music (constant, on-the-nose bad pop songs and annoying score), just about everything is bad.  Ewan McGregor is bad as the villain, the great Mary Elizabeth Winstead is barely in the film.  Rosie Perez is OK I guess.  Jurnee Smollett looks great and probably comes out the best here apart from Margot Robbie, who actually is completely fine and clearly having a fun time.  But she's not enough to save this awful film.

Indy leaving the chapel happy with Marion and their son was a nice conclusion, and brought it full circle with "Raiders".
 
While nobody's favourite, killing off Mutt was just unnecessary. The story could've happened while leaving him alive somewhere...unless the idea was to get him out of the way as a successor to Indy, and thereby set up his goddaughter.
 
Mangold insisted that "nobody was replacing Indy"...but if the film had been a huge hit, there'd probably be a Helena Shaw movie or Disney+ series in the pipeline right now.

Ewok film expansions confirmed 

I haven't listened to it much but when I have I've enjoyed it. But there's a seemingly vocal contingent of Goldsmith fans that can't give this score the time of day. Which is weird to me because it has so many echoes of what would later be some of JG's most popular scores. (It's like a First Knight prequel, isn't it?)

It's really insane how fast he shot to the top. I love this bit in the new LLL Khan booklet:
