Damn, I thought this was about Pat Metheny's excellent score for THE FALCON AND THE SNOWMAN.
 
In any case, I have nothing to contribute other than that THE WINTER SOLDIER was an excellent movie (and score), one of the very best in the MCU.

Stopped watching WandaVision after 7 minutes. I don't like that Disney wants to go backwards with TV. I'm too much for progress, to go to places TV has never been before.  Disney+ seems to be the opposite of that. Soon they be telling us a woman's place is in the kitchen.

A very compelling drama on the deaf community and being thrown off balance in life. It admirably never resorts to flashy sensationalism. And I love the 35mm look of the whole thing.

Edmilson only needs Disney+ aka The House Of Marvel. 

Gruesome and Drax love bad movies.

It doesn't seem Ryuichi thinks he will completely recover this time.

I hope I'm interpreting it wrongly.

All The President's Men - my first time watching this true-story political thriller, with Redford and Hoffman as the doggedly determined Washington Post reporters Woodward and Bernstein who uncovered the Watergate scandal. Terrific stuff.

It always reminds me of Bill Conti's Going The Distance.

I saw Star Wars in Ciné Rubens and at the time it was the best movie I ever saw. A few months later I saw 2001: ASO (sold to me as "The movie that inspired Star Wars") in Ciné Rubens but I was disappointed, it really wasn't all that Star Warsy. Two years later I saw Alien in Ciné Rubens and it immediately became the best movie I ever saw. Three years later I went to see Blade Runner in Ciné Rubens, but to be honest, I left the theatre not knowing what to think of it. Three days I went back to Ciné Rubens to see it again, and even though it was the same movie, it was a whole different experience. In fact, it then became the best movie I ever saw. We're decades later and all the aforementioned movies are still in my top 10 of best sci-fi movies.  
 
 
That was the moment I realised Ridley Scott wasn't a god after all.

Dead on! The movie feels like an independent production but the score feels like a Hollywood 'autumnal' score. It's a strange and rather baffling combination. I wouldn't be surprised if the score was 'pressured' by the money men to make 'their' movie more easy to watch. 

I dunno, Richard, the whole process of a tenant taking ownership of your house is the stuff that nightmares are made of. At least to me it is. I already watched it three times and it worked every time.
 
 
Yep! It sounds like Jon Voight wears that jacket in real life too, right? That being said, it's one of my favorite movies.

Pacific Heights - nice yuppie couple Matthew Modine and Melanie Griffith rent an apartment to Michael Keaton, only for him to turn out to be the tenant from hell. Enjoyable entry (of which there were many in the late 80s to early 90s) in the 'home invasion/enemy within' thriller sub-genre.
