I've heard some of the cues before and they are fantastic recordings.

Because the following are limited I would grab these first:

Twilight Zone

Captan Nemo and the

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

How to Steal a Million/Bachelor Flat

Thanks, Mark, Nick and Charlie, too. I'll most likely order these and add Heavy Metal.

Tubular Bells II

Tubular Bells III

Only had the live DVD of both for years. So far the album versions can't compete, although it's still good to have the music in my collection on my harddisk. And I was very surprised when I heard the master of ceremonies on II - I never knew he'd done that.

Absolution (Muse) - replacing high quality downloads (I had to have Play re-send this, since the original order from June never arrived. I hate summer mail)

Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends + Prospekt's March (Coldplay) - the album replacing low quality downloads, and the EP I've never heard so far

Star Trek: First Contact - Jerry Goldsmith

Of course the OST leaves off the best bits from the complete score, it's still nice to have the official OST. I still gotta rebuy the rest of the Star Trek albums I had before I moved.

I still need the second 30th Anniversary album for Star Trek, TNG, DS9 and Voyager. Also need to get the 4th volume of the Star Trek TNG album by Jay Chattaway. I also need to rebuy the three GNP Original Series albums and the other Varese album.

After I can get those I will have all my Star Trek albums back.

I got "Esprit de Corps" and Holsts' "First Suite in E -Flat."

Both excellent pieces, and very fun to play. I also recommend Holst's "Second Suite in F" as well as R.V. Williams' "English Folk Song Suite."

It was worth a bit at one time. Since King Solomon's Mines is available from Prometheus the only value are the Delta Force cues.

Soviet Kitsch - Regina Spektor. Wonderfully witty and inventive.

Oh god, I once got a CD of her and thought the person that gave it to me was playing a prank on me!! I mean I only have heard a coupple of her songs, but is she intentionally that bad - is it supposed to be that way? Because it not only sounds like songs I could come up with, it also sounds like I recorded it with the MD at home...

I mean "Buon Idee" and "Lacrimosa".. wow that one, I can't get it

I obviously wouldn't call her bad. Unusual, yes, but originally so, and she does very flexible things with her voice. Add a quirky piano and what's not to like?

sorry to me the compositions sound weak, and the "flexible things" embarassing.

Sounds great, that "huge used items market" ... Where do you live, Padmé? I'd love to pay your hometown a visit the next time this market comes around ... :P:D

Pines of Rome/Fountains of Rome/Roman Festival - Respighi/Ormandy and Philadelphia Orchestra

A great choice, Joey, the finale of The Pines of Via Appia is one of the most magnificent musical orgasms of all time ... :o Ain't it?!

Well you won't stop me from enjoying her music. And I just found out she's coming to Vienna this December. Yay. :D

Yeah, I know - he got me interested in things I never would have found on my own. I thank him for that! I have a list of other Morricone's to pick up next pay day.

Someone already listed them as one's they've bought, but the ones I'm looking at on SAE are The Battle Of Tangiers, Revolver and Allonsanfan. I'm can't wait for Navajo Joe. I spent years loving the main theme in Kill Bill without actually tracking it down - the whole score is a hoot!

:D I just ordered those, except for Allonsanfan, that somehow missed my radar in the huge list of Morricone at SAE. I'll order it eventually when there are some other scores I can bundle with it.
