I mean, the Rings already doesn't look a thing alike:

And of these certainly Nenya is a very important prop that got quite a few closeups in the movie, and will surely get many in the show.

There's nothing in The Rings of Power that's recognisably the same. Its all just ersatz, due to copyright. Just like the Raimi Oz.

Today, I'll try to catch up on some non-film works written by Howard Shore in the last decade.

Do you know these works?

  • MILOŠ The Moon & The Forest (2021): HOWARD SHORE: THE FOREST (Guitar Concerto)
  • Two Concerti (2017)
  • A Palace Upon the Ruins (2016)

I find Shore's concert works a little boring.

Is it just me, or did none of these recent concert works really capture the attention of the fans or the reviewing community?

I wouldn't say these works are "boring," but I find they go in every direction. There's clearly a lack of a 'concept' in the marketing of these recent albums (one of them is even subtitled as 'selected works,' indicating in advance that the content will be varied). Don't you agree?
