filmmusic 1,829
http://www.playbuzz.com/paulm10/what-famous-film-composer-are-youMy results:"You are Miklos Rozsa. A much-respected classical composer with an old world aesthetic and distinctly 19th century sound. You are grateful for the rewards of working in films, but concern about becoming "too Hollywood" has prompted you to divide your time between Los Angeles and Rome (where you spend half the year writing your concert works)."Oh, i wanted to be John Williams. mrbellamy 6,287
You are Jerry Goldsmith: a gifted innovator, versatile in many techniques (classical, jazz, pop, etc.) and an affable collaborator -- but one with strong, persuasive ideas. You are arguably the most admired film composer of your generation, much imitated by younger composers (but mainstream popularity has always eluded you). Sharkissimo 1,973
You are Hans Zimmer. You are conscientious and understand that collaboration is key to the successful outcome of the film, and carry-out the director's wishes. You refuse to be impeded by the lack of formal musical training, and are pragmatic about your role, and will (if need be) hire assistants to contribute ideas and help complete your score. Hlao-roo 389
With the inclusion of Golden Age composers, sounds like an improvement on that quiz from several years ago:http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1788What the hell?!?Congratulations, you're Tangerine Dream! You're the ultimate leech, a suck-on artist who excels at nothing more than replacing other people and destroying things that would otherwise have been perfectly fine if not for your influence. The only reason people come to you for anything is because they can't get anyone else to do it--and everyone hates you for doing it instead of someone more qualified! No one knows where you came from or what you're doing here, and nearly everyone is hoping you'll kiss off soon. You've submarined the great Jerry Goldsmith's score for Legend, and "scored" (whatever!) such films as Thief, umm....uhhh....well, frankly, aside from that crap hardly anyone remembers just what you've done, so....anyway....:cry:Haha
