Lewya 360
https://pitchfork.com/features/lists-and-guides/the-50-best-movie-scores-of-all-time/ - scroll down to see their list. As much as I liked both Levi's Under the Skin and Greenwood's There Will Be Blood, I think they might be overrated currently. Thoughts on their list? Popular Post Nick Parker 3,040
Damn, the fact that Pitchfork allowed such commercial, manipulative, unsubtle drivel as a John Williams score--particularly Star Wars--is jaw-dropping! Oh, Blade Runner is No. 1, okay. Balance has been restored. For a moment there I thought Pitchfork was going to actually list film scores by quality instead of hipster street cred! Phew. There are a lot of goodies on the list, though, I must admit, numbering being put aside. My friend six years ago showed me this one Pitchfork review, oh my god it was hilarious--I think it was a John Coltrane album or something. It was so strained with stupid, "evocative" metaphors, someone actually animated it, complete with douchey narration. I wish I could find it again. Allow me to list why from weakest to strongest reason. 5. Takes too long to work through. 4. Numbers can be confusing. 3. I got your list right here. 2. Williams is better than Morricone. 1. Brundlefly 2,385
An interesting, varied list. The winner of it is the wrong Ridley Scott sci-fi classic though.

TheOtherJones 7
Yawn. Reminds me of the Rolling Stone guitarist lists where they put Hendrix or Clapton outside the top five just to ruffle feathers and drive page-clicks.

Interstellar should be there in that list. And Hansu was robbed by the academy, that laughable score by mediocre desplat won. And now he has two of them, ridiculous. DrTenma 116
This lists are always subjective and never get everyone happy but I felt ashamed with some of the inclusions. Clearly they are thinking more in "music inside a movie" than a proper score. And you can tell that someone is trying hard to pretend being smart when they add to one of this lists 'Solaris'. I mean, is a great movie, but is quite hard to consider the music from Eduard Artemiev as a masterpiece.
Kasey Kockroach 2,344
Well, three John Williams scores would make my top 30 favorites! So...huzzah!
Oomoog the Ecstatic 314
So, this would be the 'objective' list? https://bit.ly/2TNwKBy But then Star Wars isn't #1 so I don't understand objectivity. Maybe I just was not designed to be objective.
