Don't be, i'll get over it.

Btw, have you listened to your CD of Munich yet?

What do you think of that score, do you like it?

Is it everything you hoped it would be?

LOL

Does anyone know if his acceptance speech is somewhere to be found online?

not sure about that but i can tell u it was very basic and short. nothing flowery at all

Good. It would embarrass me if John went Sally Field.

Did Catherine Deneuve be the person who give the Golden Globe Award to John Williams at that part of the ceremony ?

She gave him a lot more after the ceremony!

I'm one of the "old" guys who actually seen Williams aceptace speechs live before....

But I would love to watch another....

By the way, Romão, do yu know if the Globes will be broadcasted in Portugal?

Miguel, with the best possible news to start up the day

Se for como em anos anteriores, a cerimónia será transmitida na SIC, e só umas semanas depois da cerimónia dos òscares.

Where does Catherine Denevue fit into the equation when the quack from Nip/Tuck and some broad were the presenters of the Best Original Score?

I have never smoked a day in my life.

Sadly I did. I quit though. Man that was difficult.

Just shut up.

-Ross, having temper problems since he quit smoking too - and out of a promise, not out of willingness.

LOL From Golden Globes to Anonymous Smockers. But the thread could have turned a lot worse. A lot worse.

What the hell is a sigaret??????    :)

I think he was quoting old man Andy Garcia from DEAD AGAIN. "Can I have a sigaret?"

Yes this is excellent news. Oscar #6 beckons...

By the way, did anyone see this result (winner in bold):

Best Performance by an Actress In A Television Series - Musical Or Comedy

Marcia Cross – Desperate Housewives

Teri Hatcher – Desperate Housewives

Felicity Huffman – Desperate Housewives

Eva Longoria – Desperate Housewives

Mary-Louise Parker – Weeds

That amused me.

Yes, excellent news. And yes. Nothing strange. Think Godfather.

Sim, foi o que imaginei, mas sempre tinha esperança que já houvesse uma data prevista...

Hooray!!! ;)

btw, here's a transcript of Williams' acceptance speech (the damn Frenchies were talking through it, so some of it was hard to hear):

"Thank you very much for [?], ladies and gentlemen. A special warm thanks to Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, and a wonderful orchestra. And to one of the most gracious and sublimely gifted people that I know; Rob Marshall. Thank you very much."

What about Froggies?

I'd go see it if it was  about cowgirl lesbians and starred Natalie Portman and Keira Knightly.

K.M.

Oh that would be an interesting movie. They would get my undivided attention for the whole span of the movie. ;) And that mud wrestling idea is superb. Cowgirls often mud wrestle. Right?

Well that mud wrestling part could be still implemented into the plot somehow. No problem. There can never be too many lesbian mud wrestling scenes.

Or can there? ;)
