  1. Legend is an amazing score. To me, it more than makes up for the shortcomings of the movie. It conjures up the whole world in my imagination. Fantasy scoring at its finest. Karol
  2. Perhaps, but Elfman is literally an amateur. Doesn't that make his efforts more impressive in comparison? Karol
  3. Ah, that's a shame. I thought that being a God of War music fan you'd like this too. But it is what it is. Karol
  4. It's a big role for him. Literally. (Splendid actor, by the way) Karol
  5. I like the prosthetic make up, Tim Roth and the score. Karol
  6. Hi, all brilliant artists! Does anyone have any custom The Rings of Power covers for episode albums? I could use the existing episode covers but wanted to diffrentiate the new Mondo set from my High-Res album in digital library. Karol
  7. Anyone made any custom episode album covers? I was looking for something to differentiate them from the digital. Karol
  8. Arrived today: Looks like this is exactly the content of his blog posts (or at least adapted from those). Karol
  9. No, I like the original. I just don't see the point of turning it into a franchise. I feel like point has been made over 40 years ago. The sequel, while decent, didn't really add that much. Karol
  10. And Cloverfield. And Let Me In. 😀 There seems to a Matt Reeves sound coming from Giacchino. Dark, motivic/minimalistic and textural. Karol
  11. That Michelle Yeoh is in it, I count as good news. The fact they are making this in the first place...not so much. Karol
  12. The previous three movies are pretty good. And, to be honest, I also quite like Giacchino's scores. Karol
  13. Finished Shogun today. It was, for the most part, pretty great. People expecting a Hollywood epic will be very disappointed as the show focuses mostly on character study and political intrigue. It's a slow burn. I really appreciated the more grown-up approach to the source material. Great stuff. As I mentioned above, the music is quite terrible. Such a wasted opportunity, given such a rich story. Karol
