  1. Sorry, but they were the only horticulture films that I could think of.
  2. "Now, Bond, I've always tried to teach you two things. The first? Never let them see you bleed." "And the second?" "Always have an escape plan..."
  3. I would have thought THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS, THE EMERALD FOREST, and RETURN OF THE KILLER TOMATOES
  4. The McGuffin in TOD is not to get the stones, but to rescue the children, which makes it the most noble, and selfless, thing that Jones has ever done.
  5. I'm no expert, @Mr. Hooper, but the score (or, at least, the 'Main Title') for STAR WARS achieved "true icon status", on May 25th, 1977. In the audio commentary for SUPERMAN, JW asks Tom Mankiewicz what kind of theme was required for the film. He replied: "The kind of theme that's played at half-time at the Superbowl." Low, and behold... I can't recall a single note of INCEPTION, but both STAR WARS and SUPERMAN are indelibly sewn into the fabric of American culture. Fuck INCEPTION; that's iconic.
  6. "Check the angular vector of The Moon."
  7. Add STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE, BASIC INSTINCT, and L.A. CONFIDENTIAL to that list.
  8. I've seen that interview. Neither is true, but... what happened to Mike Yates was sad. Quite correct. Both quotes are from 'Day Of The Daleks'.
  9. A "heads up", guys. This afternoon, at 16:00hrs, BST, BBC's Radio 3 programme THE SOUND OF CINEMA is dedicating an entire show (sixty minutes) to music from the POTA films.
  10. Maybe it should eat up a giant man-eating fish, turning into... er, maybe not...
