I'd rather not stand in line or a queue to see the dead.
I can see that in my mind's eye.

And now with digital sales nothing is a fair comparison.

The 15 minutes Beauty Killed The Beast on the OST is like a symphony and indeed some of the best music Howard has written. I actaully wish this was one track, and not 5 seperate ones.

Doom is my favorite Indy film and score, but there’s something about Crusade that screams nostalgia for me, in a good way. I remember watching it quite a bit when I was a kid with my grandfather, and something about Crusade reminds me of being a child.

I see it as Least Crusade. Its a mistake. I can watch jt. The father son dynamic is great but the production values are, for a SS, very mediocre.

Yes I am picky and unforgiving. Between the modern machine work on the cup to the lazy script, the keystone cop/nazi, I felt let down. I have at least 31 reason why its the least, or is it 21.
The score for LC is the weakest of the 4 scores to me.

Because it's a series with at least two "gays".
Marsha Gay Harden never fails to deliver. Best part of the show.

Now that I have a little saloon with a TV and a Bluray player, it's not a luxury to update some movies of my collection from DVD to BluRay...

Agreed. Made it three episodes in before I gave up, I couldn't stand it. Once I found out it was from the creator of Sex and the City it all made sense though. All the jokes were so dated; they would've been cutting-edge in 2001 but not in 2022. The worst part is that all of the references and depictions of sex are so clinical and puritan, but the show acts as if it's the raunchiest thing in the world. Bizarre. The entire premise of this show was done much earlier, much better and with much more fun when Russell T Davies made Cucumber. Check that out instead.

Id laugh if it wasn't so sad.

I don't know a goddamn thing about Moody but drop the hyperbole.

John Williams is the greatest film composer of all time. He has a film catalog that is unmatched. He also had a unique set of circumstances that make him who he is.
His career is a result of amazing talent associated with film makers of amazing talent. John's musical journey is unprecedented and Moody may be amazing but he isnt and will never be THE NEXT JOHN WILLIAMS.
for moody to do this he must have his own Spielberg and Lucas etc.

It is disrespectful of John Williams with such talk and it does a disservice to this young man. Let him be his own person without comparing him to the Greatest Of All Time.

Remember when Michael Giacchino was the NEXT JOHN WILLIAMS? Well he is not. In fact he isn't even close. He is mediocrity personified.

I just came across this YouTube channel and am absolutely astunned.
Of the musical examples I can hear there, this one comes as close to Mr. Williams in its orchestration, motivic work
and overall brilliance as I've never heard before!

Check his work out and let me know what you think!
He even writes the same way - with pencil and sketch paper

and even ?? talks ?? like John Williams.

Watched the Dark Knight yesterday. Finally got the bad taste out of my mouth from the Batman. 14 years ago this phenomenon hit the screens and today it still packs a punch. Of course the real pleasure are the performances. The acting elevates the film. Few performances are as nuanced like the roles of the Joker and Alfred's.
The Batman is unwatchable compared to this masterpiece.
