I feel its more the 2nd half of Dune that wouldnt work as just a part of a whole movie. Too much happens.

I still think Thomas Newman did an okay job with the action music for Skyfall, though he does reuse a lot of it in both movies.

Honestly a lot of those missing tracks are just 1 minute long. I can see why some were skipped.\
 
Plus in some cases tracks were clearly merged (Like Bene Gesserit or Night on Arrakis)
 
edit: Oh I see now. Escape into Ornithopter is taken out of the Ornithopter track (which is like a good chunk of 3 minutes). It goes straight from the Good Luck scene to the Chase into the Dust Storm.
Then again I suppose Escape into Ornithopter sounded a lot like the Pauls Dream/Shortening of the Way music already. Just faster-paced.
 
edit: Also all that Ripples in the Sand is missing is an organ overlay. Sounds familiar.

Some of those mistakes I can forgive, since they might not have had access to the film overlays (or any intent to release the music as film mixes)

It is curious that the missing music would be at the exact end of disc 1.

The Frollo and Quasimodo track is the one I've been missing the most. but its good to have those other tracks restored to full too.
(and I assume Sanctuary will have its Wicked Witch segment again, lol)
